First (very short) trip in new unit

Took the new trailer out last weekend to do an initial shake out and see if all the systems worked when hooked up. I know some people were interested in hearing about any quality issues encountered on a 2005 so here is my report so far. For the most part as I said to my wife "this trailer tows like a dream compared to the Bambi". It really was smooth. Maybe it was because I did a better job installing the anti-sway hitch this time. It sure took less time than the first time (two hours instead of about 8) experience is a wonderful thing. The only "defects" we have to report thus far is that we noticed that underside one of the panels is loose and some insulation is hanging out. I intend to get under there today and figure out how to secure it. The only other little thing is that one of the speakers is buzzing and will have to be replaced. One other thing and maybe it is an adjustment or something is that the hot water heater doesn't sound smooth... almost like the fire in there is flickering a bit.. Is there a way to adjust this? It worked fine but just sounds a bit off. All in all a very sucessful trip and I am very satisfied with the new unit. My biggest problem is finding time to get out but I am working on that.

The water heater can be adjusted. There is a shutter that you can move to change the amount of air mixed into the LP.

On the burner tube that comes off the gas valve look for the slotted round fitting. There should be a screw. Loosen the screw while the heater is running and slide the shutter in or out. You will hear the noise the burner makes change. The flame should be mostly blue with a small orange tip. If you run it too quiet it will soot.

was it windy in your campground? I've noticed that my water heater makes that kind of noise if it's on the leeward side of MH or in a strong crosswind.
