Airstream Safari 23' LS, what's the LE

I've spent the night online trying to figure out what the LS stands for, I know what SE (special Edition) stands for but LS has me stumped.

The LS is for a package of upgrades/extras to the standard Safari line of trailers which included:

Larger BTU AC
Premium Audio Visual Package
Skylight
Black Tank Sprayer Cleaner
International style tail lights

There may have been other extras that I don't recall. I don't know if this upgrade applies to the Flying Cloud line or not.

well if you figure that out, than you can start on why the 27' is 28' in length and the 28' is 27'

There was no skylight or Audio Visual stuff in the LS. Some of the other things were spare tire, upgraded sink faucets. Can't remember everything that was in it but Colonial Airstream posted this info not too long ago so a search should bring it up.

In 2008 the LS stuff became part of the Safari SE package.

All is standard equipment in the 2009+ Flying Cloud.
