Anyone know when the 2016 Urban Air Rally is? And will it still be in Michigan?
Also, how do I sign up for it?

I thought I read somewhere it was going to be September 22nd still in Eaton Rapids. We were looking to go this year as well.

I have been told that plans for a 2016 Urban Air rally have been cancelled. Sorry, I don't have any details.

The urban air face book page has nothing posted about a 2016 event. We were there last year and have been receiving all updates. According to Kirt Mackeller the event was canceled this year.

A PBS series called "Michigan Under the Radar", recently did a segment on Urban Air.
Maybe it was an old piece but I just saw it.
Very interesting.

Interesting. I was also under the opinion that this years event was cancelled but maybe not.....

Just filled out the online registration. It will be interesting to see what happens.

Just as an update.....
I sent in my registration and got an invoice back with an hour or so asking for the 75$.
Because this event seemed to be cancelled earlier in a little nervous about sending the $). Anyone have any thoughts on this

Urban Air 2016 is happening. It was announced on Airstream Addicts on Facebook. The dates have changed to Sept 22-25 in Eaton Rapids.

Same weekend as Tin Can Tourists Fall weekend.

I see the dates are 9/22-9/25. I wouldn't be able to be there until Friday evening. Does that mess with space and setup? Does everyone stay the entire weekend?

Got a call this morning from one of the organizers of UrbanAir and it sounds like all is good for this years event.
The dates will be Sept 22 - 25th and should be a lot of fun

Sounds like the city is taking over for this year's event, but registration is still through UrbanAir??? Are the people of UrbanAir back in?

I've had personal stories about myself and some events that I have planned published in the local newspaper several times over the years.

I've yet to have an accurate story printed!

Don't read to much into the old article.

Urban Air 2016 is in very good hands and will be just fine.

You can register up until the date of the event or until the event is deemed full at 101 trailers.
