September get together in the "OCEAN STATE"-2007

Hi folks,

We are planning way ahead for September 7th-9th, 2007.


We have scouted out places to stay in RI, and found a fantastic place to go streamin' for the weekend! A group of us camped at Fishermen's Memorial State Park, at Point Judith, RI on the weekend of September 15th, and everyone agreed to return there again next September.

This campground is exactly a 1 mile drive from the ocean/beach. The best part is the ferry that takes you to BLOCK ISLAND which is absolutely beautiful!

The campground is like a golf course, perfectly planned out with leveled asphalt pull thru's. To us....it's the ideal setting for camping. So now, we would like to invite all our AS/Forum/ and Forum Guests to come and join US. This is NOT a WBCCI event. COME ONE, COME ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are booking in Area 1 which has full hook up, with 40 sites available.

****Must book ahead of time, because I can guarantee there will be NO sites available on a drive in basis. ******

You can mail us your applications. We will mail all applications in together on January 14th to Fishermen's so we can all get a site in Area 1. Fishermen's will mail you a confirmation once they have received it, then you send your deposit in to hold the site. Pretty simple!



Area 1: Electric, Water, and Sewer (No Canvas) - 40 sites available
Residents: $20.00 per night Non-Residents: $35.00 per night

Areas 2 & 4: Electric and Water - 107 sites available
Residents: $18.00 per night Non-Residents: $25.00 per night

Area 3:No Hook-ups (Canvas Only) - 35 Sites Available
Residents: $14.00 per night Non-Residents: $20.00 per night

Arrival time 1pm and check out is 11am


So far we have 15 applications to mail!

They are proposing to the state of RI for the year 2008, to have all reservations done online. Hopefully they will go through Reserve For America.

WOW! I haven't been on in a while. Is there any room left? I can call them directly and reserve, or try going through you- whichever you suggest. we've been there before and it's great. Renting mopeds on Block Island is highly recommended. I've been out of touch for this whole year of hell dealing with our daughter's college applications and son's college graduation etc. But now I'm FREE to plan some fun. Please tell me I can join in.....
