Don't forget folks... First weekend in October!!! Anniversary Rally & Chili Cookoff is going to move a bit closer to Cleveland to check out some of the attractions there! We still have that special trophy to be won! Don't let an SOB who is attending the rally steal it away from the airstreamers!!!

Findley State Park Chilli Cook-off 10/30-11/1
Airstreams will again be gathering at Findley State Park near Wellington for a weekend of fun.
We will be cooking chilli and many of us will be winterizing together. Sites are still available. Come join us!

My wife and I just signed up for Camp NOVA. We hope to meet up for a few events. Has anyone attended the Sept 8-11 Put in Bay event in prior years?

The Put-in-Bay rally is new this year! This is happening during the "historic weekend" at the bay. That's a very active day with parades and many other activities.
We actually are planning on ferrying the trailers over to Middle Bass Island. If that doesn't pan out, we will camp at East Harbor State Park.

I haven't been keeping up on the rally calendar since so much of our camping time this year is wrapped up in a trip out west. But ferrying over to middle bass is on my camping bucket list. I'll keep this one in mind and see if we can fit it in. This would be the weekend after labor day, correct?

We are new to the AS world. Just ordered our first piece of aluminum in the form of a FC 27. Expected delivery is late Aug. we are located in Southern Ohio ... Looking forward to meeting other Buckeye AS folk.

Congratulations. There are several get togethers here in Ohio, although we haven't mad it to any in the 3 years we have owned an Airstream. Things are slowing down so maybe we will see you out there.

We are coming up fromColumbus on old23 ... noticed a lot of roads on google map show as closed in theToledo area.

The wife and I just returned from a week at the Silver Slipper casino campground in Waveland Ms. The Eagles alone would make for a worthy weekend getaway. If you reserve site 12 the Eagles fly right over you back and forth between their roost tree and the ocean.
