N E ONE mention the vintage vacation rally coming up in newport?
has anyone mentioned it?
i saw the thread for last years.
well for those that dont know, the vintage vacations rally is coming up again.
it will be held at the newport dunes again.
it seems pretty hush hush this year. nobody seems to know.
luckily my wife was driving one day, and someone recognized the car and asked if she was going.
we checked the site and the rally sold out, but we did get a spot at the newport dunes.
anyways, hope to see some of you there.

Mike,
That rally really sells out fast. I have signed up for Craig's email list and think I received notification that way. The only other way is to watch his website often. We will be there with the Safari and either the Lincoln or PowerWagon. Stop by and say hi.
We are arriving on Thursday night, have to go to work on Friday, but will be back Friday night for the rest of the weekend.

we were on his mailing list as well.
and id constantly look at the site. and it was never updated.
i even emailed craig one time asking if he was indeed doing it.
never heard or saw something.
so we are lucky that someone recognized my wife.
if it wasnt for that we probably wouldnt be there!!!!
but luckily we got a spot, not an official member of the rally, but thats ok, we will still be there.
i think we will be there from thursday to tuesday.
we are looking forward to it.

I am reading the May, 2007 Trailer Life and on page 24 there is an article on the Vintage Vacations Rally at The Newport Dunes on May 17-20.
If anyone is in the area on May 17-20 (open house on May 19) drop by and say HI.
