Hello Lou
Hope that everyone has a great dinner... we will be unable to make it as we are in Tampa. We willl be at any future rallies planned for the spring or summer. Might even have the 30' Argosy there... if not we might have to bring our SOB... Annie and Marvin

I'd love to see your 30' Argosy. I have never seen one! Have you pictures?! Or must I wait for the rally? Heck bring both then you can carry more refreshments to us!

Potluck postponement....
All:
Yesterday morning Candie took her Mom to the hospital for a routine heart catheter. While performing the procedure they discovered that she had two blockages. Both blockages were at about 95%. These blockages were in areas that could not make use of a stent. They performed emergency by-pass on her yesterday evening. The doctors ended up performing a triple by-pass. Candie's Mom is off of the respirator and is eating liquids as of this evening. She is responding well.
Candie is the only one of her siblings near her parents. This means my mother-in-law will be staying with us for a few weeks until she is able to get around on her own and does not need care 24/7.
This does put a wrinkle in the plans for having the potluck here next weekend though. I am sure that all of you can understand.
I propose we postpone the potluck until Saturday, April 15th. How does that sound to everyone?

Lou sorry to hear of your mother-in-law's emergency operation but glad to hear that she will be getting the benefit of care from you and Candie. I wish her a speedy recovery. Don't worry about us your fan club awaits!

I do not think she really thinks of my care as "quality care".

Thanks, Steph.
I have been chatting with Carol on IM and we think we may just have everyone meet for pizza somewhere near my home on Saturday. It would have to be near here because we would not want to be too far from her in case we are needed.
What do you guys think?

Like Andy says I will be here too. If you need to change the date to some time in April watch for the WBCCI Metro Detroit rally date, and the 15th is Easter weekend, if that would be a consideration for people traveling to visit their families or cooking up a storm. Pizza is good for me, it's the company not the food, but the combination works out nicely too, imo.

Tada
Lou and the L.P.P.I membership,
Lisa and I hope your mother-in-law is recovering well from her operation. Hope she gets on her feet soon. I hope you all are doing well infact. Pizza sounds good to me for saturday, maybe a strategy meeting on this years event? I have already stockpiled some goodies. Pizza Popolus is a great place to meet? it's cheesy but not too cheesy you know what I mean? it's located close to m-59 and rochester rd area. I think that is the best logistics from talking to everyone in the L.P.P.I. not far from Lou's but close M-59 and not too far from I-75or I-94. What do you think?

This is eerie!!!
Last Thrusday, I was heading to West Virginia for some skiing, when almost half way there I got a call that my dad had a heart attack and was in the hospital. I turned around and hightailed it back to Michigan. Luckily, his heart attack was "mild" and they only found two blockages. They put a stent in one on Friday, and are scheduled to do the other tomorrow. Depending upon how things go I may or may not be available on Saturday. However, if I am around, Pizza Popolus is close by, so Lorrie and I should be able to make it. I will try to keep you posted, but if I run out of time to reply back I'm sure you'll understand.

If any of you Michiganders has a 31 or 34' older model in good condition that you're thiking of trading up from let me know as I am looking. Or even if you know somebody else off the boards that might have something. I just missed buying a beauty in Ohio and was pretty disappointed.
