For me, confusion will always reign supreme, as I have to constantly check where I am and where I'm going. We are currently in So Fl (Loxahatchee) basking in the rain ;-) but will be saddling up soon to head to Nevada/Arizona, with a stop in Ohio at the Airstream factory . Then its off to the TAC-Ohio. While there, we hope to drum up some interest for a Birthday Bash (PA) to TAC-Minn caravan. Maybe we could call it the TAC Goat Dance.

Wonderful! Buddy Brad and I will also see you at the TAC-Ohio Rally in April, so we can also help you drum up support! See you in a few weeks!

Sena Erhrhardt Band Booked for TAC Rally Saturday July 9th!
I am very pleased and happy (make that thrilled!) to announce that we have our band booked for a concert in Becker on Saturday night July 9th! More information to follow, but for now I'm including a link to the band, and a link to a fan generated video posted on You-Tube.
Facebook Band Link here.
Our own "GR8DANE" (Steve Dancin Hansen) is the Sena Erhrhardt Band bass player. I can tell you first hand this is one great Blues Band. They are booked each and every weekend in the upper Midwest, and we are thrilled to have them booked during our TAC Rally. The location for this concert is only 5 miles from our Rally location. Again, more information to follow. If you have not yet committed to this rally, it's time to do so! The Sena Erhrhardt Band concert is but one more great reason!

I can't wait for the snow to melt and the 'Streamin' to start! The Sena Ehrhardt Band is very much looking forward to a great summer of music including July 9th in Becker, Mn in conjunction with the TAC Rally at the Minnesota Airstream Park. Tim Singleton, you are the man!
Here's another link to a SEB YouTube video that was shot at one of the premier blues clubs in the upper midwest, Wilbeski's Blues Saloon.
Enjoy and we'll see you at the Airstream Park for the TAC Rally and at Gily's in Becker July 9th.

We just signed up. We have visited the park for only a couple of hours but I remember that it is a beautiful park. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

bags!
This is an open invitation (challenge, really) to any interested team of bag tossers. The drummer and the bass player from the Sena Ehrhardt Band will take on any two who are brave enough in a game of beanbag toss. The stakes? 12 pack of beer, winners' choice. If beers not your thing, we'll talk. Fair warning...drummer Tim attended the U of W Madison so he spent way too much time throwing bags and I am just naturally gifted in the art of bag arcing. 2 out of 3 games, winners take all, losers hide in their trailers sobbing uncontrollably. This competition is not for the faint of heart.
Seriously, let's have some fun! If there is enough interest, we could set up a multiple team bracket.
Respond here on the thread or PM me.
Peace!

Is it just an Ohio thing that we call that game "cornhole"?

Cause Ohioans used to throw corn cobs instead of bean bags?

Just personal preference to not use the expression "cornhole." We could call it "door within a door" for the weekend to make it thematic.

Intentional or not, I'm not sure, but the phone number on that sign is an Ohio number.
I remember the first time someone told me: "I'll bring the cornhole boards" I was kinda freaked out 'cause it was a friend that said it! Luckily I discovered that it is just a really bad name for a fun game. Supposedly it's because you're throwing bags filled with popcorn through a hole. Yes, very bad name.

Yes it is an Ohio phone number. We were at the factory and were a little curious about the name of the game. We had to have a photo of this sign

Brad,
I just noticed your TAC number. Reminds me of the live VAP recording done at the 1st Annual Birthday Bash. Lots of yelling that number.
Beer was involved and I'm pretty sure Dick Perkins was our ringleader!

I was reading a post that was talking about TAC numbers and I thought
" WOW!!!!!!!!!!! Drive around America with a shinny silver trailer with 69 on the endcap"
Seemed like a good ice breaker so I asked and do you know what happened?
TAC being about having fun and not overloaded with silly formalities said Why yes Brad Here you are.
TAC rocks!!!!!!!!!!!
Id like to meet Dick and share a cocktail

More Added to Sunday Schedule for MN TAC Rally
We have a couple of items to add to our Sunday July 10th schedule.
-Victoria and Joseph are going to lead a discussion/slide show "Seeing yourself as a National Park Service Volunteer". Victoria and Joseph are "Full Timers" in their Airstream, and we look forward to hearing and seeing their experiences which include working/volunteering at National Parks. This will be held from 10-11 am on Sunday July 10th.
-Also on Sunday July 10th, the Rev. R. Ray Singleton will hold a half hour non-denominational service "Blessing for Campers and Travelers". Paster Ray (as he is most often called) is a 77 year old retired minister who still volunteers weekly as a hospital chaplain. He is also the Rally Host's Father, thus my dad. The service will immediately precede the above discussion, so Sunday from 9:30 to 10 am.
Our schedule continues to come into focus! At this point our Rally is 70% full. Only 15 more weeks until the Rally. Time to sign-up!

The VAP Episode #134 Includes MN TAC Rally Information
Thank you Tim, Colin and Frank for having me on The VAP last night! The only reason for me being on was to talk about our upcoming Minnesota TAC Rally. Download episode #134 from their site here. Only 3 months until July!

great job!
Tim,
You did an awesome job of promoting the Minnesota TAC Rally! If anybody was on the fence about attending the festivities, after hearing the VAPcast they should surely jump to the side of the fence where all the fun will be.
I'll be bringing the video camera (as I did to Birthday Bash I) and this time I'll just leave it on. You too can appear on YouTube saying things like "please edit that part out" and "really, Steve, stop following me!"
Everybody sign up for a great time. Get yourself a spot and don't forget your wheelchocks cause the trailers are gonna be rockin!

Why has this rally disappeared from the Airforums Rally Calendar?
I'm sure it was there a while ago.
