In response to some messages, I can advise that we will be entering Mexico from Nogales AZ January 12, 2019, return crossing on March 9th.

The Caravan is restricted to Airstreamers. The Wagon Master , well experienced with Mexican travel / caravans will lead, and the Mexican Government's Tourist Agency "Green Angels" will tail gun. They are are mechanics, fixers and masters of many trades - a real asset.

Stops include Alamos, Mazatlan, Durango , Zacatecas, Guanajuato, Patzcuraro,Mexico City (Hotel Accomodation 3 nights and 24 hr security for rigs included) , Villa Corona, Melaque and Lo de Marcos - to name a few.

This is not a "forced march" in that driving days are for the most part short with many lay over days to relax, enjoy beaches, tour opportunities and explore.

Participants are separately reponsible for acquiring a designed brand communications radio and Mexican insurance for their rigs and vehicles. The Caravan organizers will facilitate that to get best prices.

Sounds interesting. I’ll check it out. We are currently considering a fall ‘19 trip down the Baja to Cabo San Lucas. As we know more, will post here to see if others are interested.
