Went to the campground yesterday....I'm happy to say that there is only 9 sites left for the rally... ...So can't wait...July is just around the corner,don't forget to get one of the remaining spaces left today...

For those who haven't got their site yet. The campground is releasing the reserved sites as of July 1st because of other things going on in town, so make sure you get your sites NOW

We have our reservations and looking forward to coming. We just picked up our refurbished 1974 Land Yacht this afternoon at 4:30!!!! So excited, we love it!! Can't wait to show it off.

Here is what we have for thur. Everyone arriving,free time-set-up etc. 5-ish hot dogs, chips bring own beverage, -free time 7-ish bowling contest 9-ish camp fire free time

6pm-Wii bowling tournament-Mandie is in charge of that-There will be a 1st,2nd,and 3rd place winner...There can be as many 2 person teams as everyone would like,but the top three scores,win the prize...
7:30pm-Camping Pictionary-Mom/Sue is in charge of this fun game-we will need 2,4 person teams,to draw things related to camping....Prizes will be rewarded at the end of the game....

9pm-Campfire at site 28....Optional..Bring marshmellows....LOL

9am-Jitters for breakfast
10am-Grampas flea market on Dakota Avenue in South Sioux City

12pm- Lunch on own

5pm-Hamburgers,salads,and BAKED BEAN CONTEST....So bring your best tasting cowboy beans to this dinner........We will number all the entries,and have post it notes and pens,so the ralliers can decide the best tasting baked beans....Prize will be given to the winner...
6pm-States puzzle game-Cynthia will be in charge of this fun game...We will put 3 teams of 4 people together...We have a united states map,that is a puzzle,we want to see how long it takes for the teams to put it together....The fastest team that does this will receive a box seat at the lawn chair movie,and perks to go with it...
7pm-Cowboy hat contest-Come with your best decorated cowboy hat....Use whatever theme you would like...We will show these great hats off by having a cowboy hat runway... Your the model.....Whoever gets the loudest claps and response to there hat,will get a prize....
8pm-Lawn chair movie-Rooster Cogburn-With movie snack stand provided...Snow cones-hot dogs-pickles-candy-POPCORN!!!!!!!!!

Things have come together, looks like there is going to be lots of fun, and
fellowship at the rally. I think the best part of this get-to-gether is seeing old friends and meeting new.

Our 74, 25' is the only Airstream we have now. We sold our 2001, 30' in November. So we will definitely be bringing it. I started a blog to record our travels in it. So here is the link, it has a few pictures for a sneak peak.

Hopefully I'am not hi jacking this thread but.....I would be interested in checking a event out time and distance being a factor. I live in Mankato MN. and would like to attend one at some point. Is there a notifier of some kind to let a person know when and where events are going to be and possibly a way to put in a distance willing to travel? Sorry if this is not the right spot for this question but it seemed to be the one that came up when I typed in Minnesota events. Thanks for your time, answers and understanding.
