$15.00 per night for the campground. No rally fee. There will be water and electric. Bring extra extensions! The set up is different this year so I am not sure if the sites will be closer to the hookups or not.

I just posted a maybe to the rsvp page. I'm going to see if i can fit this into my schedule for my return trip from Florida. I have a few things to be taken care of at home so I can't commit yet. My park opens the following weekend so it doesn't leave me much time to get ready.

So with the crazy weather, the camping bug has got me and i am ready to hook up and roll! That being said, the hubby wont let me pack the airstream yet from winterizing it. So, to entertain myself and try to ease the pain of not being able to run off and camp, i decided to clean. I think the scent of simple green is going to stay with me for the next week anyways. But on the bright side, the ceilings and walls are wiped down and non sticky.

I'm with you on that one. I've been working on things here and there all winter on the moho and the Airstream. I pulled the moho out of the barn on Tuesday night and parked it by the house for some work in the coming days. Yesterday I did a bit more on the Airstream (still in the barn). I also put all new entry-door weatherstripping on the entry door to the moho. I drove the moho into town this morning for a complete look-over of the undercarriage and it was a quiet, non-door-rattling experience! Unfortunately the prognosis from the shop isn't so great. Lots of work needed on the rear axle. Nevertheless, we have to get the Airstream out this weekend, I think. I've still got some work planned for it before hitting the road on March 30. We'll be back in town for this rally, though. Airstream in tow. This rally will end a week and two weekends of camping for us!

Yup. All part of the grand plan for the moho. The mechanical stuff is getting worked over first. In a few weeks, once our color swatches arrive

, we will order our awnings for the moho and then drive over to P&S trailer works outside Toledo to have them installed.

But, for the Amish country rally, it will be the Airstream. It would have been the moho, but since we will be in VA just prior to the Amish country rally and there we will need to have the trailer instead of the moho; we'll just drop off the trailer at the fairgrounds since it literally is on our way home from the VA trip. Since I've got fire pit responsibilities at the Amish rally, I will be dropping the Airstream and then running home (15 min. from the fairgrounds) to get the fire pit and fire wood. Then, back to the fairgrounds for 3 nights of TAC rallying!

Just a quick note to all. We would like to be at the event but will be in North Carolina for the begining of April. Last time we saw all of you our AS was in a state of deconstruction. Due to the good weather we have been able to get a lot done so we will be ready next time.

These are pics of a new dinette, bunk area, refurbished bath and kitchen. Homemade for the most part. We should get our new dinette cushions next week. Then we will be ready to roll.

Love the dinette! That's a lot like what I've envisioned for our '74 Overlander. Hopefully I get to see yours before I start in to mine. Bummer you can't make it this year.

We plan to arrive mid-to-late afternoon on Thursday. Is this OK? (our first)

Also, is it known exactly where on the fairgrounds we will be situated? I see a Google airview with a number of possibilities near the racing oval. Is there a street intersection known?

Thursday afternoon will be fine. We will be there around 11am or noon on Thursday. So we will show you were to park when you roll in (the parking layout is different this year than last year)
I want to say the entrance is off of vanover street.
We will be located by the track stands area. Will also have a few signs we will try to have up soon after we arrive

TAC is a very informal club. The info about TAC is not broken down to individual states. Only one's TAC number denotes a geographic location and even that can be set to something non specific. The main spot for TAC info is the TAC website: The Airstreamer's Club. Also, a lot of info can be found here at Airforums about TAC since Airforums is our main location for online interaction. TAC has private forums here as well that you can request access to when you're a member. Membership is free, just send a PM via Airforums to "rebelstand" and she will get you signed up.

Glad you found this spot! Ohio Airstreamers are all around. We have quite a few that like to gather that are not in a really organized group. We post on this Airforums thread to let folks know where we are going and when, and if they can join us they do! It is kind of fun. We have about 5 or 6 who seem to get together frequently. Seems like camping season in Ohio will get going early this year, due to lack of snow and cold. We hope!

I am sorry but I need to retract my RSVP. I have customers who want to go camping on this Easter weekend so I will not be able to attend. Maybe next year.
