Excellent! Last year was my first year with an Airstream and Alumapalooza was my first rally, too. BEWARE....this activity could become addictive.

You'll make new friends, learn more about what is so truly special about owning an Airstream and you'll never look back.

Since that first big step, I've been to several rallies around the midwest and even started one myself. Good luck, safe travels, and make sure you get up on the roof of the factory during the factory tour to photograph hundreds of neatly organized A/S from a bird's eye view!

Congratulations. Everybody is nice and you'll have fun.

Hey Clemson! This is my 1st Alumapalooza also! I'm towing my 16' Sport and caravanning from Oregon with three other gal pals, one of which, is towing her Bambi, too! I'm so pumped about this adventure!! Can't wait! Hope to see you there! Take care and have a fun and safe trip.

We are arriving on Thursday morning. How early can we arrive and partake in the activities? Do we have to wait until 11:00 to register?

You can start partaking as soon as you are parked!

Here's how we do it: When you arrive, you'll be greeted by Lou, Larry, Terry, or one of the other members of their team. They'll ask you your name, check you off their list, and hand you a plastic token for each registered adult. Then they'll direct you to a parking space.

Later, when the registration table is open, you can trade that token for a goody bag and your official badges. But in the meantime, you're fully checked-in and able to enjoy any activity that's going on. Simple, eh?

We generally start parking about 8 a.m., when the Airstream guard opens the gate. On Tuesday (the first day), parking starts at 9 a.m. Parking stops when they lock the gate, which is usually about 6 p.m. If you might arrive late, be prepared to spend a night boondocked by the entry gate.

Very funny! Reminds me of last years Alumapalooza. I have an Aunt who lives nearby JC and was going to visit us in the field there. She had spoke to my mother here in Florida prior to coming. My Aunt asked my mother if she knew where we were parked. My mother responded with NO but you can't miss them . . . they are the ones with flag poles on their Airstream. LOL I'm still chuckling over that one.

I can't wait to meet you all. I'll look for the flamingos! ;-) You must come over for a Happy Hour.

Ah yes, the check list - ours is printed out and we're going down the list to make sure everything is in order. Plenty of Antsy McClain music, lots of food and beverages... and the list goes on.

As for flagpoles... we only have a single - guess we'll have to upgrade to multiple flagpoles if we want to compete at Alumapalooza levels!

We'll be hitting the road to Alumapalooza this Friday. The Airstream is raring to go. Gonna take the long way around via Denver, and arrive a few days early to set up. We'll see you all there.

Twice last week we had people run stop signs in front of us, nearly t-boning us but missing by enough. Was waiting for that 3rd time's a charm thing to kick in, but so far so good.
