Alumapalooza Poster?
Rich, I was wondering if you have any posters with the psychedelic alumapalooza cover? I know of a home for two of them if you do, we dig them.

More pics.
My wife drilling holes for rivets, Yoga, and lots of vintage here, and a post office for sale.

A windowless Airstream, the Terra Port (what's wrong with this picture?), and the corner at Bambi Lane.

Thank You Mr. Wheeler
What's the worst that could happen? He'll say no. So I approached Mr. Bob Wheeler, President of Airstream Inc., and asked if he could get me on the roof of the trailer production building to take some good photos of the group.
His response, "We can do that."
So on behalf of all of us, thank you Mr. Wheeler.

I only count about 40ish. I thought there would be a larger turnout. Looks fun though!

Rhonda,
According to Colin and Brett on TheVAP, there are about 130 trailers and motorhomes.

Yep, about 120 - 130, and possibly a few late arrivals. It's been a really good time, and we've met a lot of interesting, nice people. The field can accommodate several more trailers, but this size crowd is just about right, and I'd hate to see it get too much bigger. According to Rich Luhr and Bob Wheeler, it looks like it will be an annual event.
Good times.

Unless my counter is wrong I only can count somewhere around 50 trailers according to the pictures. SOMEONE GO count em PLEASE. Hope you all are havein fun. We would have loved to come but between the death of our dog,and price constraints we couldn't make it. Maybe another time.

Bowlus Bowlus
Saw our first Bowlus Trailer on Monday at the RV museum in Elkhart IN
Here at Alumapalooza - two more!
In as found condition, the Bowlus on the right is owned by Airstream.
The restored Bowlus and more can be seen in John Long's book "Bowlus Trailers: The Origin of the Species"

Roger,
Do you have a problem with the number given by Colin and Brett, both at the rally?
Rich's blog today gives the count as 107.

I certainly didn't think my photos would cause such a controversy. They're just the poor photos from my iPhone since those are the only ones I can publish at this time.
One photo is looking east and one photo is looking west. There is no photo of the enire middle section with several rows of trailers and the vendor booths. The generator section is also on the far west fence line and barely shows up in the photo.
One of the rooftop photographers had an 11 mm lens that should have gotten most of the trailers in one shot. I also took a series that I'll stitch into a huge panoramic. Better photos will filter in once everyone gets home.

I'm there. Again, the last I count heard from Rich was between 120-130. Should I actually be inspired to do a count, there's no doubt I would be distracted somewhere along the way by the aluminum, and I would never finish it.
CAVEAT LECTOR: Hey, it was happy hour, and I was totally engaged in a very deep discussion about cowboys, clowns, rivets, and trailer trash (art).

I didn't do a final count today but we are somewhere about 120-130 trailers this evening, as stated. The pictures posted so far don't show the entire field. We have roughly 290 people expected for dinner Saturday and about 400 or so for lunch because the Airstream employees are joining us.
Limited edition signed giclee posters have been made by Brad Cornelius and can be purchased through him.
We announced today we will do Alumapalooza 2011 next year, May 31-June 5. Pre-registration will start in July.
It has been a long (but great) day -- off to bed!

Evidently the pics that were posted where only half of the field and no matter what pic I looked at I could only count between 40 and 50.Even if that were all it would have been a great group. I really appreciated the pic's that were posted, I'm not sure who took em,but THANKS. It was better than not seen anything. We would have loved to have been there.
Hope to see you all down the road somewhere.
Roger
