Dennis, When looking at your photo I see there is a group all by themselves on the left side of the field. What is the story behind that? Is that the penalty box?

That was the generator section. Or as they called it, "The Wild West," or "Siberia."

Do you think AS owns enough property to handle the crowd that will probably be there next year??? As the word spreads, so will the crowd...I would expect a HUGE
number to show up to enjoy the happenings. We wanted to travel from where we had traveled to just to enjoy the day but couldn't get away. But, we would certainly look forward to enjoying the show next year. Thanks for all the photos and the early date so plans can be made immediately. sounds like fun was had by all!!!

If you are planning to come to next year's rally you need to sign up early. Rich said that they do not want the numbers to get soooo large that we swamp JC, so they plan to limit the numbers. Larry and I had a great time. We sure met lots of great people.

Yes, we will limit the numbers in 2011 to what we can reasonably accommodate. It's more important to us to have a great event than a huge event. I think these gatherings are more fun when you can have a reasonable chance to meet most of the people camping with you.

We should have a 2011 event website up in a couple of months, with more photos, videos, comments from attendees, etc. I'll post here when it is ready. Hopefully we can open registration by August...

Sean & Kristy posted their Alumapalooza feature on The Long Long Honeymoon. For those of you who missed their presentation under the tent, it was excellent. Thanks for all your hard work.

We can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed the Alumapalloza Rally and all the wonderful Airstream friends we met, we combined out trip to have the A/S Service Staff
and Technicians do our Electronic up-grades on our 2004 Classic and they did a Super job.
We really enjoyed every moment we had with all the Production Staff for the Rally and what an event they staged for all. The Presentations were informative and helpful and most interesting...for that we thank you. The Entertainment was a WONDERFUL and we enjoyed every minute. Vendors were top notch...Michael, Kristiana, and Dave Winnick
also the Airstream store and there friendly and helpful employees.
We appreciate all that Rich Luhr and Staff, Bob Wheeler, Larry Huttle, and all of Airstream employees that helped to make this the BEST AIRSTREAM RALLY ever for us.
We will be there for RALLY # 2
Keep Streaming,......Steve and Marty

busy busy busy

Besides keeping us nicely busy at the seminars, Larry and I really enjoyed meeting lots of the Airstreamers that we have met on this airforums site and conversed with for the past several years. We had some really great visits. NOVA (Home - NOVA) had a really good group of folks that visited with us. AND we made some new friends! All in all it was a beautiful week!

We really had a good time and thoroughly recommend this event for the future. I think a big takeaway for me is what I learned. The seminars were fantastic - tires/balancing; Dexter axles/brakes/bearings; Zipdee Awnings; wildlife photography; the Long, Long Honeymoon presentation; AS cooking; AS interior design; AS renovations, and more. We took (for the first time) the factory tour and were impressed. I bought a number of parts from the AS parts dept and was very impressed that a mechanic (or RV technician) actually came out to give me a tip on installing the item (I didn't ask for him and this just shows the customer service that AS was displaying). The entertainment and dinner were great. A thanks to Artstream (Michael), Silver Trailer (Kristiana), and David Winnick for their vendor booths and generosity in the raffles. An unexpected surprise was the lunch that AS Inc put on (with Bob Wheeler dishing out food) Saturday with the AS factory employees participating. Thanks to Rich Luhr and many others for all the Alumapalooza (see I can spell it) work and "pulling it off". And finally we enjoyed seeing old and making many new friends. And (the list could go on and on), I enjoyed meeting and talking with Dale "Pee Wee" Schwamborn.

Here are a few more pictures.

The first picture shows the Bob Wheeler (AS Pres and CEO) at the nightly raffle with Brett and Rich.
The second picture shows the 1966 International Travelall rig (cool).
The third picture shows the Rich Luhr/family trailer.
The fourth picture shows a unique license plate belonging to the ____?

A few more....

First is an old Honda like I had at one time.
Second is a Chevy Express Van sitting awaiting conversion in the near future as a new Class B motorhome, probably as a 2011 model.
Third is Kristy and Sean Michael in their Long, Long Honeymoon presentation.
Fourth is my truck being towed out of the field behind the tractor (after my trailer was towed). Thanks tractor man!

Is it Alumapalooza 2011 yet?! Thank you so much for hosting such a fun rally, Rich, Brett, Eleanor and Lisa.
It was so fun to meet forum and Facebook friends I felt like I've known forever.
Being at the Airstream factory and getting the factory tour was a dream come true for me as well as others. (I got goose bumps looking at all of that sheet metal...).

Thank you so much to everyone who came to my interior design seminar and shopped at the Silver Trailer bling booth. What beautiful customers & friends I have!

I really have to say that was one of my favorite trips of all time- that's pretty huge!

Missing my silver family & can't wait to check out all of the photos and read more to relive it until next year...

Happy travels until then,

Kristiana
