4th Annual Airbiscuit Anniversary Rally & Chili Cookoff October 23- 26, 2014

The dates have been set, the party is being planned, the sites can be reserved April 23, 2014. Keep your eyes here for more information as the season progresses and spend the last weekend in October with us before you winterize! Most of us winterize there before we leave Sunday. So if you are new to winterizing, need some advice, or want to learn some tricks, we have some experts who are willing to help!

Last year was my first year in attendance and was wowed by the official-ness of the chili cook off. I had no idea the event was this celebrated and big. Loren, you guys did a great job with the introductions, the swag, the friendliness, the food and I WILL BE THERE AGAIN THIS YEAR...but look out. I'mma cookin'.

Haha, we do our best and try to make sure everyone feels welcome, airstream or not we are in it to celebrate friends family, laughter, food, and of course our anniversary is a good excuse for a celebration!

What are the rules (if any) for the chili cook-off? Other than using venison... are any ingredients required or not permitted? For instance, in Texas the chili cannot contain beans or tomatoes.

We'd love to attend this rally but I'm not sure if the calendar will cooperate this year. We'll keep you posted.

Only restriction is venison (provided by park) is the only "game meat allowed"

WE would love to see you too! As for the chili, venison provided if you sign up for the cook off. Venison is the only requirement. You can add other meats, but no other wild game. And of course, other ingredients are always good!

When you call in and sign up with the park for the cook off they will put aside one pound of ground venison. That can be picked up when you arrive if you sign up ahead of time.
