It came down for a few min. and chased us from the fire. We are in the tent and have one heater going. Toasty. Come on over!

We want to thank everyone again for coming to celebrate our anniversary with us! We had an amazing turn out despite the cold, occasional rain and surprise snow shower! Special thanks to Ella, Lou, Larry & the rest of our silver family for their slave labor and assistance in keeping us sane.

We hope everyone made it home safely and that we will see you all again either this time next year or at our season opener in April... TAC OH Amish Rally

Thanks!
Loren & Michael

To Big Al, thanks for the lessons on solar, after some few bowls of chili, I was able to show Karen the possibilities of running on 'natural gas'.

Cheers to you all,

So I need to post a humbling apology post. I jumped to the conclusion that Dan's post some number back about little ones under 18 coming was something related to naughty things around the fire. Little did I know that it was more engineered to know truly if little ones would be there. My two boys were the recipients of baskets that were seemingly specially engineered for them. It never ceases to amaze me home many people think of our kids when they know they are going to be at rallies. And how many people remember us because of our kids. Now, I've got two Lowe's kits to build with the kids...

I told you, they were the only little ones in the entire 36 units!! We couldn't cater to only adults!

Here's to 70 units next year. Your dad predicted it...

Better buy a megaphone for the raffle.

I've got some, but I'm lazy and I hate my blackberry so it'll be a week until I download them!

I've got some great panoramic shots of the cookoff and the campfire/raffle. Are you on fb? or can you PM me your email? Thank you! And a heartfelt thank you for all the work you and the other organizers put into this rally. It was warm and friendly which totally took the edge off of the cold. There isn't anything that could have been made better for all of us....from the swag bags and badges to the rented tent and heaters to the big roaring fire...did I mention the FOOD! It was great. Looking forward to next year! Kelly

I would like to say a great big THANK YOU to everyone! Wes and I had a wonderful time this weekend. Since this was our first rally, we didnt know what to expect. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly that we cant wait for next year! (Where we will hopefully be sporting our tin tent!) Thanks so much to all who had a hand in organizing the event, and thanks for the kind words and advice from all who we met.

(Kelly, thats a great photo of you and Wes and I LOVE the caption! Too funny!)

We'd like to thank Loren, Mike, Lou, Larry, Ella.........and anyone else who did anything to make this event so great! To say it was cold is a bit of an understatement, but still had a wonderful time. I can see we're going to have to bring long underwear and more next year. The food was wonderful and plentiful, too!

Thanks!

Thanks Loren, Mike, Lou, Larry and everyone else who made this--our first ever rally--so much fun. And special thanks to Al for helping us winterize. Loved your pics, Kelly.
