Thanks. We will come to the tent and find everyone. Have never been to a rally and we have nothing ready. Just decided to come last night. Gonna be hectic the next couple days but we will be there!!!

We wish we could bring the Airstream, but the tow lights dont work at the moment, so we will be braving the tent camping. We have a good setup with a nice cot, I dont think it will be TOO miserable. We will be arriving in the evening on Friday. Looking forward to meeting everyone!

FYI, for those who did not meet the deadline for chilicook off registration... We have 2 open spots left in the airstream group, so if you are interested, please send me a message before Thursday morning!! If you wouldn't be rolling in till Friday eve, I will pick it up from the park and start thawing it for you.

Hi WesandSteph.

Just thought I'd share this info with you, when we picked up an Airstream out in Iowa, it didn't have lights, so we bought a set of temporary lights which the bottoms of the lights have magnets to keep them in place and very long cords to run under your tralah and plug into your truck. I'm thinking we picked those lights up at a U-Haul, but it might have been Wal-Mart, and I don't think they were very expensive, but that was several years ago.

Yes, there are picnic tables at the sites.
You will want to make sure that you have camping chairs so that you can sit in the tent. I wonder how many a 20x20 tent will hold. We may have enough body heat to keep us all warm!!! We are thinking a few food tables and then lots of room for chairs.

Well, it's raining in NE Ohio - must be time for the Chili Cook-off!

Did I see a mention of moving the dates? Might be a great idea - 3 years and rained for all.....dress warmly campers!

We'll be arriving Friday afternoon!

We had NO rain for the first one!
We were so busy and having fun that we didn't much notice the rain for the second. Last year was a blast anyway!
Yes, we will need to dress in layers, but it IS Ohio! Wait 5 min. and the weather changes.

Hi, my son came home unexpectedly, and he will be joining me at the rally. He would enjoy entering the contest if there is extra venison. We will arrive Thursday afternoon. See ya'll there.

Hi Loren, Rod and I called the park and signed up for the chili cook off but I may have forgotten to tell her we were with the Airstream group. I didn't see our name on your list, Please add us as we will give it another try for the big trophy!!!We will be there Thursday afternoon....Thanks

Hey Popsicles, the HenHouse had a hard, crusty frost on her this morning up here in mid-Michigan. Already starting the deep freeze process. Ha! We're gonna NEED all that chili to keep ourselves warm at night.

I'm about a half of an hour away from hitch up, roll out, and heading southbound and down. I'm bringing a fresh deck of bicycle cards for a Euchre smack down. It's on. (Can you tell I grew up on the south side of Chicago?)

I think we are going to have a ball...maybe a snowball...but a ball none the less.

WE HAVE HEAT...finally! Tried our new furnace Wed nite and couldn't get it to work. Thought we would be there today but NOOOOO. Had to get a regulator and outside help but should be there in the morning. Don't know anybody. Have never been to a rally. Hell or high water we are coming. Save us some fun!!!

Tomorrow afternoon will be a rush for us. I've got the airstream in its prep position in front of the house, but not willing to fill it with water since it's supposed to be 28 here tonight. I think my refrigerator needs a reverse option... I need to put heat from the system into the fridge rather that evaporating the ammonia and making it cold! See everyone about 6 or so.
