I dont know about a Hooters girl, but if you ask her real nice you could probably get Cleco to put on something tight for the drawing

Now that she has confirmed I will have 2 of the prettiest girls there

Now if I could just get the trailer there

Any need for tool for this years academy? welders, rivet guns etc?
Cleco And I will definitely be there as will my wife Jennifer who couldnt make it last year due to school. Just starting to consideraccomodations since it sounds like my cloud and Kens are at about the same point.
Looking forward to seeing everyone from last year and meeting a bunch of new friends.

How come we have to have a password to register? Thats a pain. So is the fact that we can't use PayPal to pay the fees....I hate to pass out credit card info on

I found out about this yesterday and registered immediately! I'm a clueless newbie (but avid DIY-er). Timing couldn't be more ideal... I just acquired a '77 Argosy 28 TT, and I'm gutting it with plans for lots of custom modifications. After reading a few comments and testimonials, I knew VTA couldn't be missed! I'll be coming from NH, so even if I had a roadworthy trailer I couldn't bring it due to time constraints. It killed me to think about hotel-living for the weekend. Turns out Enchanted Trails has a few vintage coaches to rent! My Mr. and I reserved a '69 AS and will be lodging in style (albeit empty-handed) at the venue. Can't wait, I'm dying with anticipation!

Looking forward to learning from the masters... I plan to make the roadtrip in the service truck without the airstream in tow. I will look into staying at one of those local hotels.

To those considering attending the Vintage Trailer Academy, let me introduce to you, Sheridan, a graduate of the academy...with honors! He came to the very first event six years ago on his motorcycle as his vintage was under restoration. Over the years, we saw photos and heard stories of where he was at with his project. Last year he shared his finished project with a few of us and what a gem it is!! We're happy to have Sheridan on board this year as he kicks off the Vintage Trailer Academy and shares his experience of restoring an Airstream!

I'm really looking forward this event and can't wait to go especially as I will be cruising down Rt 66 to get there. Since I'll be by myself I won't be bringing the AS but will be bringing my 1973 Compact II - a neat little fiberglass job I just finished restoring. It's going to look like some alien craft among the Airstreams.

Thought I saw where there is going to be a swap meet at this event ,but no details were given. If there is a swap meet I might bring some parts with.

63Air...you will be most welcomed at this event and we're happy to have you! Yes, there will be a swap meet, details are still in the planning stage. Bring those parts along. BTW, did you have to do any fiberglass work on your Compact II? I'd be curious to learn more!
