Were you able to get more slots?
Shari,
Noticed that the 59 are filled. Were you able to get any additional slots in the RV park or is it now waiting list only?

I need to have a 100% accurate trailer/duration count by June 15th...we will be "on the hook" for all spaces committed and we will not be able to guarantee any revisions to duration of stay after that point. It sure makes it easier on me the earlier things are firmed up though, so let me know as soon as possible what your plans are.

I need to contact the campground manager this week, we've been playing phone tag and I have been unreachable during big chunks of the last couple of days. I will post if additional spaces are available as soon as I know.

I'm so glad I snuck in with those extra spots you got! This is going to be really fun to finally meet some of these nuts, er, I mean folks, in person!
We're counting the days...

We have obtained an additional 10 spaces for the rally...but once these are gone, they're gone! No more will be available...so mail in your registration today! Thank you to all for helping to make this the biggest & best Rocky Mountain VAC gathering yet!

I read a post (by Inside Out) early in this thread about the VAC being set up primarily devoted to trailers. With the MH becoming a vintage this year, I was wondering if the by-laws or at least the perceptions of WBCCI - VAC members would need to be educated to incorporate this wonderful event!

Actually, we have had a couple of Vintage Argosy MH's that have attended the Rocky Mountain VAC Rally previously and are planning on attending again this year. No adjustments to the by-laws need to be made...if it's an Airstream built product and it is 25 years or older it's owner is eligible for membership and to attend the VAC Rallies.
However, the fact that MH's are coming of age will take a bit of getting used to.

I'm so excited to be finally going to a real big rally (not like the little ones I've been to so far), that I got out there tonight and put my numbers on! Now I'm ready for some airstreamin' adventures

You're numbers look good and you'll be able to add a few more states to your window map while you're on the road. See you at the rally Steph.

With this many forums' members in attendance, looks like we'll have to list our forums' handle on the windows of our trailers so everyone will know.

I signed up for the rally last fall since my daughter and son-in-law (midamrail) raved about the last two rallies. However, the price of gas makes driving from Ohio questionable. Can I get a refund if I cancel early enough?

Clarence,
Last year was our first VAC rally. We didn't even have a bed or eating area. Just an air mattress and lawn chairs. We arrived at 11:30pm the first night, slept in the Globetrotter in the street. Its worth the effort! We can hardly wait for this years. Great fun, Great People! Hope the @#$%& gas prices don't scare you off. We are heading to Eugene, Oregon in 2 weeks ( 1,360 miles one way) and we will feel the sting of fuel prices. Look at Ontario Canada, I hear they are paying a buck a liter. Oh well, where's the fun in letting the RV sit in the driveway. Hope you'll come!!

Everyone's feeling the sting, but I won't let it keep me home.
Hey CO Bus, let me know how the trip to Eugene goes, and what route you take. We'll probably be going that way to the rally in August. It'll be our longest trip EVER, trailer or not!

I'd hate to see anyone cancel due to gas prices, but if you must, please contact me off line and we'll work with you.
Only partial refunds can be given after June 20th...unless there is a waiting list to backfill the vacancy, we will be on the hook for the campsites.
