I won't be there, but I go to that camp gnd a couple of times a year. Its a very nice camp gnd with large spaces & the ocean is close by. I'm sure you will all enjoy it.

I live sort of close to there. What is VAC? I've never been to a rally. My MH is in the shop as we speak. Maybe I can just drive by in my Jeep.

The VAC is the "Vintage Airstream Club." You can check out the club's website at: www.airstream.net

The organizers expect about 60 vintage trailers at this rally. There is an open house on Saturday, Oct 11 -- come on by!

There were motor homes and a couple of new trailers at the Rocky Mtn Rally, and they were admired, too.

As passionate as Airstream owners can get, there doesn't seem to be any element of snobbiness. It wouldn't have been Wally's way!

We are signed up and are frantically trying to get our 65 Trade Wind put back together so we can at least camp in it. Bought it in July and are redoing the interior (including stripping the PO's paint and wallpaper and the Zolatone down to bare aluminum and fiberglass). Looking forward to seeing other Airstreams of the same period to determine what we are missing and what goes where. It should be a great time! We'll see you there!
