The way the schedule looks at this point, I may not be able to get out of Albuquerque until early Friday AM - arrive Q mid-afternoon. Will a Friday arrival be OKAY?

Thanks!

A Bloody Mary in Q does not turn into a solid block of frozen stuff and is therefore good! (It was -3F here this morning, and that's an improvement over the last few mornings.)

On the road, they are palliative, in Q, they are medicinal. I've had my morning medication, and it seems to be working...

Lynn, you make me feel even better about why we are here, although that's why we ARE here...

Loaded and Ready to Go

Just got the moho all loaded up. I'll be heading to Baja in the morning. Then we'll do the same routine as last year. The day after Thanksgiving, we'll head for Quartzsite. See you all mid-afternoon Friday.
Unlike last year, I'm hoping not to have to bribe any Policia to get across the border in a timely fashion. Ron

Charlie, if you get to the coordinates Richard posted, yer too close to the campfire...

Goin, same place...if we have to move over a bit, we'll still be quite visible...however, Jimmini, ourselves, Artstream, and Silverbear should have the perimeter somewhat staked out by Friday or Saturday...just have to wait for the Escapees group to 'saddle up and move out'...

Richard, the spokes won't work because of the proximity to the road...we're opting for concentric circles with an entry lane for unloading goodies and firewood

Next post will be detailed(for me) instructions on finding this place from the highway.

Looking forward to seeing you both again this year.

To use the border express lane, you need to know the handshake!

So, w h e r e are we going...???

Ok...directions:::::::::

IF YER HEADED WEST ON IH 10: TAKE EXIT 19(1ST Q EXIT)...YOU'LL COME TO THE OVERPASS STOP SIGN...TURN RIGHT...GO TO THE NEXT INTERSECTION(MAIN STREET)(A COUPLE OF BLOCKS)...TURN LEFT...GO AWAYS TO THE FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT(HWY 95)...TURN LEFT...YOU ARE NOW ON HWY 95...CONTINUE SOUTH ON 95 TILL YOU GET TO MILE MARKER 99...
START SLOWING DOWN...ABOUT A HALF MILE PAST MM99 LOOK FOR THE GREEN SIGN WITH WHITE LETTERS THAT SAYS "LA PAZ VALLEY"...TURN RIGHT...JUST AFTER YOU TURN RIGHT, YOU WILL TURN RIGHT AGAIN, INTO ROADRUNNER CAMPGROUND...
OK, NOW, IF YOU HAVE A SMALL RIG YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO JUST KEEP TURNING RIGHT(BASICALLY A U-TURN), AS THE BEST WASH CROSSING IS THE VERY FIRST ONE...IF YOU CAN'T MAKE THAT MUCH OF A CUT, JUST GO STRAIGHT, THEN MAKE A U TURN IN THE LARGE FLAT AREA, AND COME BACK TO THE WASH FROM THE OTHER DIRECTION(WE HAD TO DO THIS)...CROSS THE WASH, AND FOLLOW THE TRACKS TO THE LEFT...THERE SHOULD BE PINK-BORDERED POSTERBOARD WITH ARROWS IN PINK...FOLLOW THE TRACKS TO THE SHINY THINGS, AND SOMEONE WILL GREET YOU WITH A SUGGESTION FOR PARKING.
PARK, SET UP, GRAB A COLD SOMETHING, AND A CHAIR...ENJOY...

IF YER COMING EAST ON IH 10, GET OFF AT EXIT 17, TURN RIGHT AT THE OVERPASS ROAD, GO DOWN A BLOCK, TURN LEFT AT THE LOVE'S STATION(KUEHN ROAD), AND FOLLOW IT AWAYS TO THE FIRST TRAFFIC LIGHT(HWY 95)...FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FROM THE ABOVE PARAGRAPH AFTER THAT...

IF YER COMING SOUTH ON 95, SEE ABOVE, RELATING TO WHAT YOU DO ONCE YER ON 95(YOU ALREADY ARE)

IF YER HEADED NORTH ON 95, WHEN YOU SEE MILE MARKER 98, SLOW DOWN...ABOUT 1/2 MILE PAST THAT WILL BE A GREEN SIGN WITH WHITE LETTERS SAYING " LA PAZ VALLEY"...TURN LEFT, THEN FOLLOW THE ABOVE DIRECTIONS...

QUESTIONS??? EMAIL OR PM ME...

NOW HIT THE PRINT BUTTON, PUT THIS ON YER DASH RIGHT NOW, AND HURRY UP!!! We're waitin'
