The weather could have been better but the company couldn't have been inproved on. Great rally with a good turn out. Fun meeting our new friends (LaVon has a secret recipe)! Already looking forward to the Joint Rally in March and to seeing some of you in Sarasota at the Florida State Rally. Happy Trails.

Myrtle Beach Rally this month
Thats right, it is time again. Boy dont we camp alot? (Some of us dont think so but compared to most....)
We will be in beautiful Myrtle Beach for "Back to the 50's" rally March 5-7th. many including me will be going early so, get in your Airstream and come on down to Ocean Lakes Campground and see what the SCCU is all about.
All are welcome to check us out whether you come in an Airstream or not. Oh and we will even drink coffee with you
But best of all, we are going to have full breakfast on Saturday morning, Dinner on Saturday evening, a 50's dance, cake party, Kite flying competition, (MB wind is great for that and we aint talking your average kites either). All kites are welcome though.
Surf fishing, Trips to the Broadway on the Beach, (Shopping big time), trips to local Flea Market, There is a Camping World in MB, I believe they are opening/ relocating to a brand new store.
And if you are into seafood, we are sure to go as a group, Friday evening, to a local seafood restaurant. If you ever been with us on Group Dinner Date, you know the fun we will have. if you have not been, come and party with us.
Make sure you make reservations at www.Oceanlakes.com
Come one Come all.

We will be in Myrtle Beach. I think spring is also on the way so we should have a great time. We have some interesting kites already packed, my poodle skirt is ready, and we are even bringing the granddaughter!! Can't wait. Sure hope I can fit in a little outlet shopping between all the activities. I also have a new dice game to introduce.
Come one and all.

Wish we could come up to Myrtle Beach tomarrow, we have to wait until Thursday, but we will be there with poodles? on for that 50's party... does sound like the weather will hold...wonderful to have some sun for a change...
Does anyone know how long it will take to get there from the Hilton Head/Bluffton area...up 95 and over I guess.. don't really want to go through Charleston...any thoughts...

Charleston rt
You will be much better off taking the Chas route. It is not bad, simply hit I 526 as soon as you get into Chas area, (West Ashley). That will take right around Chas and spit you out on the other side. Then its a simple cruise up 17 to Myrtle Beach.
Use mapquest and compare, www.mapquest.com
You are headed to Surfside Beach and not Myrtle Beach. (technically speaking).
Good luck,

A hit
The rally this weekend was a HUGE success. Who would think we could have had such a great time stepping back to the fifties. And if you dont believe that, I guess you would just had to be there.
This just some of the attendees, many of whom are members of this forum. We had 100 people show up and 35 rigs.
