We're not ready, going to the rally anyway
Doudjamie - here's some picture of the inside of our Airstream taken just a few minutes ago.
We are far from ready, but even if the toliet is not in we're going to be at the rally!

Mr Heater sure looks like it would be able to warm up the Caravel. Checked HD, L, WM, KM, Aubuchon, none to be had. Found one that says not to use while sleeping so that doesn't work.
We'll have to hope the weather turns in the next couple days. Someone said 70's in CT on Saturday.

Current state of affairs...
myboyburt (Michelle, or Leon?) Here's where we are. Beds are still in the house (being repaired). Range and 'fridge not cleaned yet. Bath not cleaned yet; shower curtain almost finished and ready for hanging, but not quite. No flooring yet. Haven't tested the water tanks yet. A few of the light fixtures are still dangling a little. No working heat. And my 4-year-old is coming down with a cold. I don't think the force is with us this weekend.
I'll see you at the BBQ though and we'll share a bottle of something non-alcoholic in acrylic wine glasses! Can't wait.

It's Michelle
Leon never posts to the forum.
Yep, you win in the "not ready" category. Hopefully your camper will be ready (enough) for the Scusset Beach Rally.

"Ready enough" is my goal! If New England weather does it's thing, we should be having record high temps above 100 for Scusset Beach and that's when the air conditioners will all go out. Actually, not a bad thought on a day like today.

did you go to the stores, or just check their websites? I didn't see it online at Lowe's, but they're listed on the "retailers" page on mrheater.com. also, true-value, ace hardware, Dick's sporting goods....
I'm going by Lowe's tonight...I can check for you. Its actually "on the way" to the rally for you...sort of. Or I can pick one up for you. whatever. pm me....

Rally without Toilets
Gosh, so sad we can't be there to enjoy the outting. 13 more teaching days of school!!! But I can't complain its sunny clear and 85.
By the way, on our first rally, we didn't have a toilet either. My husband didn't want to rush out and make a hasty decision. Male Plumbers! So we struck a deal...If I had to go in the middle of the night, he had to get up and hike up the hill with me to the potty.

Soggy
For the hardy souls braving the elements this weekend I've made up a couple dozen of these laminated signs.

You got the electric site! That's great!
And it looks like you were just in time. I took a peek at ReserveAmerica.com this morning and Salisbury Beach State Reservation is now completely booked up for the weekend.
I'm looking forward to having some Salisbury Beach "cardboard" pizza on the boardwalk. Yummy

I called the park and I am all set for Saturday and Sunday . Someone is there until Friday. So Friday is open. However , there is a two day minimum and you cann't "change" a reservation, only cancel it and make a new one . I Don't Think So.... We will arrive Friday and try to work it out. . I've covered the Caravel windows with triple foil insulation so we will be OK Friday night. The small trailer is an advantage when you are working with body heat.
See you Friday.

I hear ya! Massachusetts State campgrounds are SOOOOOOOO inflexible. I've had a bear of a time switching sites, reserving sites, etc. The bottom line is...just show up with your reservation number. I think they also want to know the registration numbers of your tow vehicle and trailer/mh.
