FL 027 : Sarasota Rally?

Is anyone from the Forum going to the Sarasota Rally in February?
This is going to be our first time there and was wondering if any other forum members were able to attend.
It would be fun to get together and meet one another.

We will be there.

As a member of a Florida based unit we are partially responsible for hosting the rally. I am going to approach the rally coordinators and see if I can post a locater list for the forum for folks to sign in on. There is a locater board prepared by the rally with all attendees and their location, units post sheets for their unit so members can find each other if they did not come in together.

The theme this year is tropical days so if you have a Hawaiian shirt pack it.

We will be there. It will be our first rally also, but we will try to fake it, and pretend we know what we are doing... Anybody have a good idea for us all identifying fellow forum members? Maybe print out our usernames on a piece of paper and put it in one of the front windows? Anybody else have any idea? Does anybody even want to meet other forum members?

I am holding in my hand the mocked up sign up sheet that I will be posting on the bulletin board in Robards Arena. When you are parked they will let you know your row number A, B etc then all you need to do is jot your row number and your WBCCI number.

I am hoping to host a forum happy hour but need to see where I end up being parked. The date and time will be on the sign up sheet.

This one is easy!

I am sure that you will be able to join. All we need to do is figure out what unit you would need to join geographically. You can join as a MAL (member at large) if you desire, but normally the units offer a lot of fun things to do at local rallies too. If you want to PM me regarding where in SW Florida you are I can get the information together ahead of time so you will know who to see.
