Too bad...
Too bad we just cleaned our closets out this Spring....I remember some tie dye tee shirts....
I remember...platform shoes, no shoes, Dr. Scholls, dark rimmed glasses, granny glasses, incense, candles, bell bottoms, hip huggers, halter tops, macrame, leather belts.....I am a little fuzzy on the remembering...and forget the comment that "if you were there you wouldn't remember"...
Ohhh, the appetizers; onion dip and chips, deviled eggs, lots of jello salad things, maybe the food wasn't so great....spam, bologna and cheese...Sloe Gin, Tab, Fresca
What do you remember?

Relaxed....
This rally sounds very relaxed, according to the hosts outline.
The White Mountains New Hampshire Unit will have evening campfires. One night there will be an opportunity for members to tell their favorite campfire story and share with fellow travelers. Do you have a great story to share of one of your adventures?
There will be an historian speaking one evening at the campfire, and maybe we can get more information on that.
Plenty of time during the days for hangin' out and talking, playing games or touring the area. You could even get together with a few friends, cb's on, and travel some of the back roads in a casual caravan. Curtis' BBQ for lunch is a must.
There's also the official stuff to take in, with the business meeting and officer training. Don't miss the seminars as they have great information to share and it's a good time to mingle with other Unit members.

It's on my list. I'll even put my diet aside for the adventure.

Music at our tailgate
Without giving our tailgate plans away, if you were at Wilgus you already know. Will it be okay to play a little music to set the mood? It's all in keeping with our theme.

Packing the refrigerator?
Thinking of what to bring and what to pack for food?
Clarification on meals;
Thursday Dinner, on your own
Friday Dinner, Hobo Soup, provided by hosts
Saturday Dinner, Summer Picnic, provided by hosts
Breakfasts, 3, provided by hosts
Happy Hours, bring beverage and snack to share
Lunches, on your own
PS....Checked out the Jimmy Buffet website and ordered a few items for theme decorations and am making up a snack menu...shrimp of some sort, maragurita's and lime tortilla chips with salsa....I just had to give it away....anyone want to join us?

Almost ready to go....
Prepped the motorhome today and we're almost ready to go!
My theme accents arrived today....very fun....can't wait. Just have to pick up a couple extras and away we go....oh, yeah, after we get an inspection sticker....ooooops.
Still looking for a theme....feel free to join in at Margaritaville. We're grilling shrimp kebobs, playin' some music and kickin' back.
Remember there's a NEU group meeting at the I-91N Welcome Center around 11am on Thursday to caravan in together.

In a mad rush....
Stuff is piled high next to our side door waiting to be loaded into our rig. Leon is going down to the barn now to change out a wheel & tire on the truck and then hook up "The Tube". We'll be heading out at about 9:00am

Looks like fun!
I happened to look at Rich Luhr's travel blog today and look what I found -- our own M&M Capecod cavorting in tie dye! It looks like a '60's hippie gathering at the Region One rally in Vermont! What fun!

A great rally. Thanks to our hosts for such a good time. They even made sure the weather was perfect (warm days, cool nights) It was nice to see everyone.
Yuki, Check the handsome hippie to the left. Guess who?

OMG! Now that you gave me a "hint"...I know who it is! Too funny. I knew he looked familiar but couldn't place him with THAT hair! Is that Golddigger's significant other to the right?

yeah, had a great time, etc, etc.
just wanted to say, for the record:
THERE IS NO DUMP STATION AT THE RT.91 WELCOME CENTER.
they were going to put one in when they built the place...went as far as installing the "head", so there is something there that "LOOKS" like a dump station, but it isn't connected to anything, the cap is padlocked and rusted shut.
