Perry-how to beat the heat?
Our Metro unit opted not to take the 30amp service, so no AC.
Not a big deal, I don't want to sit in a TT all day like a couch potato.
How are the evening temps, breeze?
Where in the area are there lakes, rivers etc to go swimming.
Any other COOL places.
PS: we do get like 3 or 4 amps don't we?

Many folks in the VAC Wagon Wheels caravan are bringing small inflatable "kiddie" pools to cool off in.

It was 107 degrees inside my Airstream the other afternoon around 6:00. I have no curtains, of course, since I'm still working on it. It gets really hot here folks. Oh yeah, and humid, too.
The best you can do is try and find some shade if you don't have A/C. Maybe spritz yourself with one of those mister things and a small fan.
Good luck.

I would not even bother to go, if I could not run the A/C. Why torture yourself?

no doubt the shoppng malls and movie houses have a/c...
and the meeting halls on the fairgrounds will be cooled...
till the hot air starts flowing.
bring that really big fish tank you've got...
and fill it with ice and beer.

I know its none of my business since I'm not a member, but how hard would it be to have this rally up north where it is cooler?

The location changes from year to year. Last year it was Oregon, I believe, and they had record heat, as in 100 + degrees, IIRC.

There is at least one lake there, but you need to watch for alligators.
Our A/C died on us, I decided to tough it out for the second day...I don't want to repeat that experience.

Okay,
We are about 8 hours south of you and we have a pool, but no place to park the coach. You would be very welcome here.
No way in heck would I go anywhere south of the mason dixon line in June without a/c.
