Old member, new name
Hey guys........ not to confuse anyone, but our new user name is AirHog. Get it, Airstream/Harley owners. T came up with this name, and actually I do like it myself.

Hi All,
From the email I sent all attendees, we do have tours booked with specific times. We will be going places daily which will be discussed the evenings before, so folks can plan for the following day. This is a no pressure, let's have fun rally. We don't want to have pressure being the hosts, and we don't want attendees feeling obligated to be somewhere at a specific time. Just having FUN, FUN, FUN is the theme.
So......let the party begin......................

Gail - love your new forums name.
All: If you are traveling with us on the "Capital Express" Caravan you will be receiving your Driver's Manual by email tomorrow. Also Leon and I plan to be at the caravan rendezvous spot by 6:00pm on Saturday. It's popular for layovers so it's best to get there early in the evening to insure you get an overnight spot. We will be departing on Sunday at 7:00am.

Burt.....
Can we get a copy of the driver's manual emailed to us even though we're driving down Friday on our own? Thanks.

If any of you look back at the thread, sorry we missed some of you at the DC Rally but we did make and met some fascinating folks and enjoyed a couple of evenings. Regards to all.

It was nice seeing you all rolling south bound last sunday. A few of you were even kind enough to return the flashing head lights or wave back....

Page and I enjoyed crashing the fabulous NEU DC Rally! It was nice to put faces onto logins - and very nice faces at that!
Being a Virginian, I do kind of wonder about New Englanders coming south in June - but hey- I'm glad you did. We enjoyed museum-ing and took more time than we usually do on our DC visits. But, boy - was it hot?
When we arrived at the Bash on Thursday, we thought we had arrived in Heaven, it was so cool. Great time there, of course.
We're in the Finger Lakes area now, enjoying some more new country.
See you on the road.
Pat and Page.

Aloha all:
We had a great time! Thanks for everything Gail and Titu. It was fun to meet you all. Our first summer camping in the east is off to a great, but dang hot, start. We went to Assateague Island after we left and yikes, it was beautiful. The ponies seemed to love our camper. A flock of seven of them took up residence with us. Or more likely we were trepassing on their favorite site.

Oh! That was you? How cool is this. I remember saying to Leon "There goes a nice looking vintage heading north, I wonder where it's off to". I waved and I believe Leon flashed you (wow, that sounds wicked wrong doesn't it?).

Yep, that was me heading North to set up for the Birthday Bash. Oddly on that day we saw the 8 of you and 6 others on the road all heading in various directions. Usually the only Airstream we see is the one in the rear view mirror.

My memory may be incorrect but I believe we saw 144 Airstreams over a 9 week period when we were on our unemployment tour of America last summer. It was so awesome to see so many!!!!! Most of them were sighted "out west", meaning WY, CO, AZ, UT, ID, etc.
