Gail;

Do you know the date of the White House tour yet? Or is it still up in the air? Kiddies want to know so they can request the day off.

Can't wait to get to see all of you. We have airstreamitis.... need to get streaming. Now if only this silly semester was over.

I spoke to Gail a day or two ago and at that point she did not have a confirmation for the White House tour. I'm sure it will be soon.....

Contact your member of congress now. Tell them when you are ging to be in DC. Tell them which places you want to visit, and they will provide "Congressional Tour" tickets. All tours are free in DC, but the Congressional Tour tickers usually get you a docent, and in the "side door", avoiding the long tourist lines. We picked up our tickets at our congressman's office (do that if you can) in the Rayburn building and were taken down to the tunnels, underground to the Capitol and given a tour by an aid of our congressman.

Took the first congressional tour of the day at Mount Vernon and were the ones who placed the wreath (done once a day) at the tomb of George and Martha Washington. Get there before the ticket office opens. The home is NOT on the congressional tour. You want to beat the tour buses and students. Tour the home, then meet up with your congressional tour guide.

You choose the time of your congressional tour as you are goping around town. No schedule.

Only way to go, Trust me.

Cherry Hill RV is the end of the bus line. Catch the bus there, and it takes you straight to the train station. Get a week pass for the train. When returning in the evening, get a "transfer" at the station where you get ON the train, and for 25 or 50 cents you get the bus from the station back to Cherry Hill. Don't wait until you get off the train, no transfers available there.

Thanks for the information! We'll look into "Congressional Tours". I'd love to see the tunnels under the Capitol building. I'll also make a note about the bus transfers so that we remember to do this.

Come one, come ALL to a week of fun in Washington, DC! We still have plenty of room, don't be shy and bashful for signing up at the last minute. I say, the more.......the merrier. Attend as many days as you wish. We will be there for the whole week.

So hurry, hurry and join the group!

Gail

Thumbs up Good Friends, Good Times

Yahoo! We cannot wait to meet you! Titu and Gail always run a fantastic, fun filled rally. But the best thing about attending one of their rallies for me is the feeling of being included, being made to feel special.

Leon and I met Titu and Gail at the 2004 Region One Rally and we now consider them family members. T&G: Thanks for all the years of fun and adventure! Most important - thank you for being part of our support system in the WBCCI New England Unit! - you folks totally rock!

Hi Josh,

Got your info and added you to my list of attendees! I will look for your check in the mail. Could you possibly make it for Wednesday, as we have dancing in the Clubhouse at 7:00pm-11:00pm? That's going to be sooooooo much fun.

Gail

We cannot join you for the week, but might be able to come down Friday afternoon and leave Sunday. Is that possible?

Gail.....we'll arrive Friday leave Sunday so reserve a spot for us. We'll send out the $25 and form to you tomorrow. I'll also try to call the campground and reserve Saturday night since that seemed to be past your plans. If that is not correct let me know. Also HELP.... we're still rather deep in the newbie phase of all this RV stuff.... what do we do about the tunnels/bridges on the route from NJ to DC? Restrictions/detours becasuse of propane? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks. See you soon.
