My thought was to leave the campground around 11 am, with picnic lunches in hand, and spend time hiking at the park. As you can see from the trail map, there are lots of options for short or long hikes. The park is beautiful and I guarantee you won't be disappointed. My plan is to be back at the campground in time for the Open House.
Sounds fantastic! Folks should really enjoy it.

Yeah, one of the Co-Hosts is currently trailerless....

And the rig count right now is 28 (maybe more, unsure as folks have made their own reservations).

Well, we have an extra bed in our trailer where you can sleep in the event you don't get your trailer in time as long as you don't mind waking up with an 85 pound Golden Retriever in the bed with you. Cody is sneaky in that he waits until we fall asleep and then he sneaks up into the bed with us.

Thanks! Though I hope we won't need to take you up on your offer. I had been thinking of making all the attendees draw straws and the one who got the smallest got us for trailer guests.

Actually we will be picking up "The Tube" in Plattsburgh NY on Wednesday.

No kidding! We'll de-winterize it, clean the interior, clean the fresh water tank and reload it (we took everything out, including curtains) Wednesday afternoon/night. Heading out to Salisbury after work on Thursday. You'll most likely see us waxing it at the campground on Friday as there wasn't time for GSM to clearcoat it before the rally. We'll need to bring her back - most likely after camping season for that work.

Smile Got Wood?

It's not camping with a fire.....
Jim F.

Reminder: We need a few attendees to volunteer to bring wood for our group campfire. Leon and I can only bring a limited amount due to the amount of "stuff" we need to cart to the event as rally co-hosts.

Thanks!

Hi bobandcarla,

If you folks could bring some wood it would be good. It's going to be cool in the evenings so I'm thinking we'll need to keep the fire roaring.

Thanks!

Sounds delicious!!! Sorry to hear you can't make our event. Its times like these (i.e., with multiple Region One events on the same w/e) that make choices so difficult! Now I understand why Region One suggested staggering Region One different unit events on certain set w/e's. Don't worry, there will always be a "next time" we will catch you down the road! We will raise a toast around the campfire in your honor this w/e!

Newbie Here: Better Late Than Never...

Peter and I just got our new (to us) 2001 19' Bambi last month. We are attending the "Spring into Camping" event this coming weekend. This will be our first ever camping experience in an AS. We are new members and thought we would introduce ourselves before the big weekend. Can't wait to meet everyone. Sounds like a great time. Oh yeh... almost forgot our site # is DO41.

Welcome aboard

Welcome to the forum and Airstreaming! Looking forward to seeing everybody here soon. Just me & Firedog at Salisbury so far. 2 points of aluminum by the ocean. Can't wait for it to be a "sea" of aluminum this weekend.
