Firewood

Being that it will be cool at night.... we need volunteers to bring firewood (Lots of it). We would bring some ourselves, but the tent/poles and coffee pots leaves us with no room in the TV and "Daisy".

Many thanks in advance!

If I may make a suggestion regarding wood. It seems that the same people generously bring wood to our rallies for us all to enjoy. I suggest we pass a hat at the rally to contribute to the wood. I know that I am never one to bring wood but certainly enjoy the fact that someone does. I would be happy to pitch in to cover $$ or labor. What does everyone else think?

Wood

Hi,

Don't have access to wood here, but could look to purchase some in the area. We may not have the Jeep available to us for tranporting anything (it's stuck in 4WD).

We'd be happy to chip in with others and purchase some.

We'll bring some from home too. It sounds like we will have enough for at least Friday night (remember how tiny the fire rings are at Salisbury). If we need more on Saturday we can pass the hat and purchase some or maybe Chuck will let us send someone to raid his woodpile.

hmmm...could be a reference to that nutty drug dealer that they nabbed in Salisbury last week...turns out he had quite a cache of weapons and explosives in his house. cops took it all out to the beach and blew it up.

[quote=M&M CAPECOD]Balrgn, did you see where they let off the artillery last week on the reservation? All over the news last week about the guy from Salisbury with a bunch of old mortars, grenades, etc. They found them when they went to arrest him on drug charges.

I think he is refering to this

The wind is still howling where I am. I'm hoping we are thru the worst of it but something tells me we aren't. I also saw snow in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow.
