We sure are looking forward to seeing you all.

I'd love to be a charter member of WACCI. Let me know where to sign up!

I think the chili will be the bomb! Well, either that, or it'll be.... A bomb!

I was going to have the kids stay in a tent....but I bet it'll be a bit too cold for that. I guess we'll have five in the trailer. If ONLY I could have some time to get the bigger trailer in shape before then.....maybe I'll just quit my job entirely...

Pure Capsaicin
Yes, but why would you want hot without flavor? Not to mention that it is dangerous, no joke, it's dangerous. We are talking tissue damage. Even if you wear latex glove you will get it on your hands, never fails. Then you wash them for an hour and touch something you value. You will wish you never did that.
Buy good New Mexico Dry Ground Chili online. You can hurt yourself but no skin grafts required when you touch..... you know....

Pure Cap is ok to spice up a giant bucket of.....chili, for instance.

But you STILL use an eyedropper to add it, it's so potent.

I'd agree, good ground New Mexico chili makes a great typical chili flavor!

If you're just looking for heat, use a quality habernero sauce....at least it'll add flavor along with heat. But boy, touch the tender parts, and you'll learn about that need for grafts!

Well, if you folks what to spice things up I'll provide a separate chili pot for you (of course, I'll sample your end results. I like my food spicy!)

Pure capsaicin is so powerful that chemists who handle the crystalline powder must work in a filtered "tox room" in full body protection. The suit has a closed hood to prevent inhaling the powder. Said pharmaceutical chemist Lloyd Matheson of the University of Iowa, who once inhaled some capsaicin accidentally: "It’s not toxic, but you wish you were dead if you inhale it." "One milligram of pure capsaicin placed on your hand would feel like a red-hot poker and would surely blister the skin,"

Maybe it too hot eh

We would love to think Spring [this evening is the kick off] but it was snowing again last night! The Safari was supposed to go in yesterday for bearing etc. but had to cancel. So how many survived the stew dump? We are so ready for the Chilly Man. Yes, I went down to the pump room this morning and the chili is now a yellow and green mixture and hard as a rock! Back to the drawing board.

I just can't get by the "dump" word. Maybe something like "meet and greet chili in a pot?"

How about Blending of the Chili

"I just can't get by the "dump" word."

Did Earl make you write that?

They don't need to worry about dumping with their new Basecamp....

Chili Blend is a good way to describe what we'll be doing. So.... consider it renamed!

We'll be trying out our brand new Camp Chef 3 burner thingie for the Chili Blend, really looking forward to it.

Scout out

Just back from a great afternoon excursion. CHECK it OUT!

Anyone recognize this place?

We're waiting for everyone, where is everyone, did we go on the wrong weekend?

Getting the MH cleaned up and ready to go after an electric step failure and the ice damage on the rooftop ac. ....we should get it all fixed.
