Need Advice from Rally Organizers

WE NEED HELP!!! We need suggestions about the 'getting the word' out about our new 80 site RV Park! Rally Organizers, please tell us ways to let wagonmasters know that we are ready for their visits!

Red Oak Ranch is located on US 290 outside Hempstead, TX -- 6 miles from historic Chappell Hill. We are adjacent to a beautiful golf course and have a large fishing pond on site. www.redoakranchrv.com. We also have a large 6,000 square foot Retreat Center and Caterer's Kitchen. Accommodations are perfect for rally groups!

Katy is within reasonable range for the Highland Lakes Unit (Austin area). We're always looking for new parks with a meeting room and a new area to explore.

I'll pass the info on to the upcoming officers who will be choosing rally sites.

Thanks so much for this information . .I will certainly follow-up on this suggestion. We have invested quite a bit of 'blood, sweat, and tears' in this venture. One item that we did not count on was the expense for advertising! We are just overwhelmed with the amount of money that it takes to advertise in the mainline publications! WOW! Thanks again for your suggestions!

Thanks ever so much. . please check out our website at www.redoakranchrv.com. Our building is just beautiful and have lots of space for Rally Groups. We are right in the middle of the scarecrows in the fall and bluebonnets in the spring -- the Chappell Hill festivals! In November -- the week before Thanksgiving, we have a Civil War Battle Reenactment at Liendo Plantation -- about 3 miles from us. . .Washington County (Brenham) also has the Poinsettia Festival and Christmas lights. . .Red Oak Ranch has 'Maggie'. .she is the cow we raised in our garage for several months. . she eats cookies, but only prefers the WalMart vanilla brand!!! You might want to contact WBCCI and become one of the parks that offers discounts to WBCCI members. You can also offer a discount to WBCCI rallies through their directory. (You can also offer discounts to Airstream Forum rallies, too!)

Of course, it helps to have a case of Airstream Disease yourself when offering discounts to others afflicted with the ailment.

Thanks for your note. . .I do have the 'airstream bug'. . .my mother used to 'dream' of owning an Airstream -- this was back in the 60's before RV travel was as prevalent as it is today. She was one of my first inspirations to explore the RV industry!!! After her death, I realized that dreams can be 'passed on' to family members!

I will check into the WBCCI and we will gladly offer discounts. We now have several discounts as well as a 'Grand Opening' Special.
