Of course!
I LOVED the pumpkin carving contest at the 2006 "Great Pumpkin, Harvest Moon" Rally. The kids had so much fun and so did we. This rally is looking to just a great if not even better. I'm counting the days....

Well, you just can't have judges without official hats...So I was inspired by the enthusiasm of this thread and we now have them. Can you say "Quiche-head?"

Hmmm, is this like "cheese-head?" Remember when our New England area football team was playing a team in Wisconsin? The chant was "I'd rather be dead than wear cheese on my head." Will we have a chant?

What a TERRIFIC rally idea!!!
Hey NEU-ers!
This sounds like a winner rally, but it is unfortunately too far away for us to attend. Any chance that it might ever happen a little close to the NYC/ Philly/ DC environs?? I have a mean Pumpkin carvin' ability I'd LOVE to share...!
Love the innovation and ideas!

Quiche is not cheese unless one prepares quiche lorraine. Which is still just quiche but with cheese, etc. So i think the pats fans in the group should be able to handle it ok.
Now. Is it ok if Boy and I wear our Giants Super Bowl Champion hats?

I'll be there! What a beautiful spot, and what a great time we had two years ago. We had a full moon then, didn't we? The pumpkin carving was really fun, and the food was fantastic. Bring your "woolies", though. I think I had my furnace going........Gail

Some blue airstream flannels with pink flamingos are highly recommended! Chilly nights, and beautiful days! Lots to do that weekend with the fair and several other area activities.
Can hardly wait! Glad you will be joining us, Gail!

Have you?
Let us know you are attending?
This isn't an official registration, but it is a fun way to see who else is planning to be there.

I flipped the calendar over and... oh my! Five and a half weeks to go!
The reservations have been trickling in (maybe oozing in would be a phrase better suited to this event) so... anyone thinking of attending may want to avoid the mayhem, go straight for the magic & mystery and sign up soon. We may be down to about 10 available sites by the end of this week. Pretty Scary.

That is not a lot of time left to practice quiche recipes!
Looking forward to seeing everyone soon!

Happy Campers,
If you are planning to attend the MM&M Rally in October here are some other things you will want to pack!
Wood for the campfire if you have some to share
Funnel-yes I mean the kind you pour into-there will be a BUBBLE HEAVEN HAPPY HOUR at this rally, maybe two, weather permitting. If it rains it will be indoors so don't despair! Rainy days are actually better for bubbling due to high humidity!
If it rains- we will be treasure hunting regardless so bring umbrellas and rain gear.
Rain or Shine this party will prevail!!!!
Robin
