International Rally Cancellation Person
Beyond the fact that the International Rally has cancelled we are greatly saddened by the fact that our refund for the Tobi Keith Concert is not being refunded. This concert was to replace the opening entertainment in June. We have attended several International Rallies and NEVER was there an additional cost for entertainment as our rally fee paid for that purpose. But, being good Airstreamers ( since 1976 ) we bought tickets. Now, the ticket company is not refunding our money informing us that we could put the tickets for sale on-line or wait and see if the concert is canceled. We feel that the President of Airstream made a huge error in even recommending that we all pay this additional cost for entertainment during the rally. She should approach the company herself. We just want to know what others are doing about this issue.

Hey, why not email the factory and tell them to put pressure on the vendor?

The President of Airstream and the factory had zero to do with this. This was an independent event that was to be held at a location next to the 2020 Airstream Club International Rally.

I really see these as 2 separate issues. I never felt pressured to buy Toby Keith tickets... I didn't have any interest in the concert, but if I had bought them I'd assume they're like any other concert tickets... subject to the terms of the ticket.
It was good of the rally committee to set up an option for presales for our group, but I just don't see that as some sort of commitment that the club will assume liability for tickets you bought from the venue or performer.

I hope that's hyperbole. If not I hope you are someday able to get past it and move on with your lives.

I did request a refund from the venue and it was pointed out that the terms of the tickets were if not canceled no refund. But with that said they indicated that due to the unusual circumstances they would forward my request up to the next level. By the way, this did not "replace our opening ceremony" but was in addition to. I felt no pressure from Mona or anyone else to buy tickets. Only my wife.

Take a Look in the Mirror
Why blame the President of WBCCI. You were the one who put money down, she just provided you a suggestiion of something to do while you were out there.

Hmm. Our local news stayed this weekemd that The Ranch (Larimer County Fairgrounds) facility was being changed into a covid patient center. Certain buildings are closed at this time to conventions and entertainment, but event center itselfs isnt. If concert is cancelled prr The Ranch admin office and you bought tickets thru their box office, they will credit ticket money. If you bought thru third party then youll have to fight with them.

If the Toby Keith concert schedule for June 20, 2020 Budweiser event center is canceled . Refunds will be made to the form of payment at time of original purchase.
You can hear the recording done by Budweiser events by calling 1-877-544-8499. They currently have a recording explaining the Process for all refunds of canceled concerts.
Shelter in place, be safe, and count our blessings. We all have so much to be grateful for . I personally am so grateful for all of the planning , care that was taken in planning International Loveland Colorado 2020 event. We will have many events to enjoy in the future. I just want to personally thank Mona and her team for all their hard work. God is good every day. God has a plan in resolving the chaos we are all experiencing currently . Nothing is beyond his reach. God bless each one of you. God bless our beautiful country. God bless our Airstream community.

I did not purchase tickets so am not impacted. I do believe, however, that this was bumping the opening ceremony to the following evening. I hope my recollection is correct.

A very small issue that will be corrected on its own in due time. Really a small amount of money and between you and the concert people.
No way to fault Airstream or WBCCI that I can see.
Now lets get back to the tire discussions.

If the concert doesn't cancel, post your tickets on this site. I will be looking for tickets. I was too slow to buy tickets when I bought my rally tickets.
I'm sorry for your disappointment it is no fun having high expectations, spending your money and being let down.

I'm a great fan of country music. I did not buy tickets for Toby Keith. Country is supposed to be about trains, lost dogs, broke trucks, drink'in, momma, divorce, prison, best friends, betrayal, beer and drink'in. Oh, and since I drive it so often, Johnny Cash singing about Monteagle Mountain.
