How bout a Mystic Springs rally update?

How about an update? What's this Airstream park like? Having a good time? Being as this is a computer rally surely ya'll are reading airstreamforums.com down there!

Hi Scott,

Just sitting here reading some of the forums, and saw your question. Sorry for the late response, but have been rallying @ the park this past weekend for our Thanksgiving rally. We were also there for the Computer Rally, but we didn't check the AS Forums, just email. We only have one phone line into the park, so didn't want to tie it up. We had a good computer rally in addition to good fellowship, food, games, etc. Don't know if you've been to our site, but all Airstreamers are welcome. We are on the river, and about 25 miles from Pensacola, Florida. THe park is in the woods, about a mile off the main highway, but with paved access and easy in and out. We have 50 sites, most with 3 pt hookups, most with small patios, some with 50A service. We also have some sites with no hu's. We have a large clubhouse with kitchen, and a new washer/dryer set. Thanks for the reply. I have been interested in visiting your park with my family.

Is it ok to bring children?

I've noticed that you have a New Years Work Rally coming up. We are going to be in the area at this time anyway and wondered if the park would be opened for visitors or if it is closed for the work rally. I wouldn't mind pitching in and helping. We'd only be able to stay for one night (likely 12/31) before moving on to Topsail Hill.

Kids are allowed, so long as they are kept on a leash, and cleaned up after (just kidding). True, most members are of the grand parent set, but we have couples with young kids as well as grandkids, so come on down. We dont have activities for youngsters, but we do have a nature trail, and we are on the river, so there may be some interest in that for your kids.

The work rally is open to all Airstreamers. Be glad to have you and your help. 'Course, you dont have to do anything, but help is always nice. Dont know what the agenda is, but there are things to do to keep up our park. Hope to see you then.
