We will be at Hobo. It's a fun rally.

We will find a time to have a kite fly.

Bring your kites.

If we don't wash out to sea with the next round of storms, we will be at the Hobo - we play with the band & will be getting together with Von Galleon this coming week to rehearse.

Right now, we're staying at the Garden Grove Elks & attending the NAMM show in Anaheim. We have some after show business to attend to - just looking at the forecast & wondering when it's prudent to begin our eastward journey.

Gerrry,

With the current forecast, it looks like the weather will clear next weekend.

Lightbulb Hobo

Here's wishing you guys fair winds and good weather in general.
I see where this is the 29th annual. Is there anyplace where a synopsis or history of the rally would be found ? It's a great name and seems like it is more akin to the Tin Can Tourists for some reason. One thing missing from most rallys IMHO is good post rally reporting (which can become good advertising for the next installment of the rally).. With labeled pictures. Shari Davis's club in Colo. does a great job (usually) of documenting their Rocky Mountain annual. Some years they do something they call Alumalumni (I think) and it is an individual pic of each registrant & partner/spouse in front (usually) of their Airstream. And they label each pic with NAMES
They also group lots of random pics in what they call the Scrapbook. I wish all rally organizers would take a lesson from those Colorado folks but alas few do.

We are sitting at Rice Ranch in Quartzsite today. Weather is beautiful, wish you were here.

Monday, we are headed west to Blythe and the Hobo Rally.

Here are a couple of pictures of us and some friends.

We arrived at the Colorado River Fairgrounds yesterday and registered for the Hobo Rally. I found the Rally Captain and he apologized for not answering my email, he said that he thought that he had answered all emails. He was in the hospital after Christmas for heart surgery.

There were 89 rigs registered as of last night and usually a few more show up as the week progresses.

Here are a couple of pictures of the parking area.
