4X its 4X. I remember the lecture really well. The hats are 5X felt and the shirts are 4X starch. 3X won't stop a bullet but 4X will. Must be a Cowboy thing.
I'm an optimist so I think you have good and better news. I'm also curious...
Whats the news?
Bigger truck?
New trailer?
You want to give me your Vette?
well, it's good for the attendies @ Dead Horse...
my firm, usually doesn't allow me to travel over 5 hours away from the ranch alone, as i tend to generate considerable amounts of civil litigation (against my will), so i've been asigned an attorney from NYC. (i had a different one last month in morro bay, Anna W.)
Elizabeth L., is flying into PHX, thursday and will arrive DH about 2pm. she's nice, but her position w/ the firm is capital cases (really), but her calendar is clear, so that's what i have.
bad, for me, because, i can't be me (held in check, against will). well, i can kinda wed and thr B4.
Re-read the info on the rally and have a question re: Dead Horse Ranch. In the info I printed off the 4CU Rally site waayyyy back when... I saw that generators are NOT allowed...
Is this more of a 'guideline' ? ...than a rule ?... ALA the national speed'guideline', rather than the speed limit.... aka trailer tires being rated at 65mph and LOTS of use using them at 66mph and above!?!? Not to mention 'speedlimits'....that IS what it says ON the signs, I have photos for non-believers!!! Blurry photos of the crazy speeding non-adhereants too ,might get a few plate numbers off if we all work on it one night, together. I'll happily supply the beer and ? for that night!!!!! I have like 15 HUGE cartons of photos taken by Police cruisers, and then they languished, in the worst of conditons while the lawbreakers did it over and over again.... This has GOT to STOP!
Just curious as I would hate to go to the "Pen", even the local one, for something as silly as "non-allowed" generator use.... or is it that since we will likely have a sizable portion of the park occupied we CAN MAKE the rules? Or is ducking and diving involved.... too much personal experience with that! Can't talk at him at the
Looking for input as I KNOW that several folks are bringing H2000's and 1000's - just to get them out of the house???? Are there hard and fast rules? Or are "rules" only enforced when complaints surface?
Again, NO personal experience with either generator use, SP's (yet!) or the whole boondocking thing. All input will be appreciated - naturally, some more than others!
Looking forward to good times by all, with NO police apperancess.

Certainly prominent local officials are involved, maybe even a possible presiential contenter.....

mr. toy,
wasn't it you about a week ago that went head over heels in regards to slinging ink? or am i confused? as usual? didn't you want to snap pixels in a group way? sans ink, i believe was my reply?
anyway,
the FCU Airstream Convention @ DH SP, is being held in the group site, seperate from the other part of the park, which is not group, but seperate, like on the other side. as such, generators are indeed allowed in the group area. there are no hookups. there is a posted quiet time. there are rules and boundries. if you have a problem see the greeter.
Kevbo is correct (that's why he gets the big bucks). Generators are allowed in the group site area, but can not be run during quiet time which is 10PM to 8AM.

so while packing the truck yesterday, i found room to bring the cornhole set.
as most of you know, cornhole is all the rage in the midwest. it's horse shoes minus the shoes, you use bean bags instead, and specially designed pit boxes.

If I knew the Genus &/or species of Flamingo, I'd be able to serve a witty repartee, but I don't, so we'll just bring a hundred or so and pass a few out...they don't drink much, and they go with any occasion(and any side dish). Is anyone bringing helium to this non-event in anticipation of practicing for the ABQ to-be-event...?

mr.kevbo(see, I learnt manners),
You didn't tell me what you thought about my proposal to hide the beer(bury it) under the Bar-D Wranglers cd...I guess you haven't heard of them, yet. They've played at Durango at their chuckwagon for the last many years, and if you're gonna claim dive digs, you gotta hear them...kinda like knowing who Bill Neely or Kenneth Threadgill are...m

m of m&t,
howdy, nice you could come over. please sit here.
may i get you a beverage?
in regards to your question "the genus of flamingo"....
well....
think "Phoenicopterus Linnaeus"...
tastes like chicken.
furthermore allow me to expound... please bring your CD, i'm bringing my 1,100 watt exterior solar stereo, that's green and red, so 'ur music and my stereo can well, bond.
Here ia a map and some directions that I stole from my fly fishing club's newsletter.
To reach Dead Horse State Park:
From I-17 take (exit 287) Hwy 260 to Cottonwood. Hwy. 260 intersects with 89A/Main Street. Turn left on Main Street and proceed to North 10th Street. Turn right (north) on North 10th Street. Continue on North 10th across the Verde River Bridge to the park entrance.
