OK str8strm,
We are right behind you.
The first group of the California caravan to the Balloon rally has arrived in Barstow at the Calico KOA. Kevbo nailed the timing, we arrived just about 1:00PM. So far there is Babeebloos, Kevbo10 and Timemachine.
We will be going to Calico Ghost Town in about 30 minutes when Bamcamper arrives, and then tomorrow we will he heading to the same Railside Ranch in Williams that the str8s are leaving from today.
So far no bail required, but kev is already on his second beer and a third is coming soon.......and he's tthe one driving to the Ghost Town...or not.
So who is gonna try and hook up with us between here and Williams and who is coming to meet us at Williams?
BTW, the WiFi here is top notch, best I have ever had on the road.

Str8strm caught us. We had spent the day at Petrified Forest. Boy - that stuff is some kind of heavy. Thirsty work. Rangers even helped us load. Daytime, you know.
Anyway, we arrived back at our happy camp, and guess who's parked next door? None other than the what may be one of the CA lead elements!.
Page and I had a nice dinner at the El Rancho (home of the movie stars). Hotel lobby ranks with the great railroad hotels, imho.
We'll leave tomorrow for El Morro and sneak into Grants the back way, a day early. Str8strm is going to sightsee around here and arrive Thurs as planned.

We are all enjoying Calico Ghost Town.
Some perhaps a little too much...just sayin'.
The campground is decent but the restroom facilities are a little rough.
We are heading out early to make our way to Arizona.

Railside Ranch RV, Williams AZ
Well, the California Caravan to the Boalloon rally in Albuquerque has made it intact to Williams, via Seligman and I-40.
We picked up two more Airstreams in Williams, BobKelly and Motoman. Tamara, the RV Park owner, kindly put us together in the back of the park (she knew what to expect since Kevbo has been here before). So, if anyone is tooling down I-40, going east, look right as you pass Williams and you will see us all grouped together next to the old Railroad cars, going west, look left, but don't crash.
Tomorrow, we pick up a few more as we pass through Flagstaff.
But tonight, at 6:00PM (WARNING WARNING WARNING) we will be headed inot town for festivities, including Dana kicking butt at billiards, Kevbo pushing his balls into the strike zone, Bam sucking up mass quantities of local brew and Cat starting bar room brawls with Babeebloos egging her on from the disco dance floor.
I have been assigned to hold the bail money and keep an eye on Motoman and BobKelly, just in case they try something normal...can't let people think we are normal, oh no, not that!

This is only the begining. The Calstreamers had not even hit the State line before their first detention.
I'm sure they'll make it out of Arizona. I'm not so sure they'll make back through Arizona.
