O'DOUL's comes in amber, too...better, or maybe it's just a caramel color association type thing...One EZ UP, on the way...I'll even bring the side panels for night-time privacy/security...I'm beginning to feel like a kid before Christmas, and I LIKE that...

Mr Kevbo,
We're not really
scrutinizing your icebox...is the yogurt for facials?

Can you feel it coming together...?

Beat Ya!

I'm already on the road. It's 23:20 and I'm in a rest area just East of Boise. Got a late start today. It's always hell packing up everything after 3 months and stuffing it back in the van and Bambi, but everything is in and ready to PARTY!!!!!

I should be in Moab late tomorrow or early Monday. Will probably grab a mountain bike ride there and then on to ABQ.

I'll see all of yous guys (and gals) at the Camping World on Friday AM.

Yes...everyone please travel safe and arrive in one piece.

We don't want to take up valuable party uh...balloon time to repair Airstreams or their pilots.

Looking forward to seeing and/or meeting you all.

Happy trails!

These Bambis do have a lot of storage space.

It's amazing what's in there.

Now I just need to pack the car...

We're off for the second leg of the trip. Pulling out of Needles and heading for Williams. Should get in mid-afternoon. R and D

hey str8strm,

Drive safe and drop a rock in the big hole for us....Deb, don't let Mr str8 get to close to the edge, you know how he is when he gets around anything deep......and for God sake, don't let him stop at any of those Route 66 shops, he may want to come home in a classic car "that was too good to pass up the deal", not to mention the trinkets.

Thanks for confirmation..

I'm beginning to feel a little bummed knowing half the group has already begun their adventure travel to ABQ, and I have 2 1/2 more days of work at new job before leaving.. The Excursion is packed, the Margarita Ball is in and protected from the elements, and all the tanks and tires are as they should be.. Our refrigerator has unfortunately been re-prioritized to include food...

Mapquest says 15 hours and 14 minutes, so we may be able to get some more sleep on Thursday night.. Hoping to get to Bakersfield or Mojave Weds, and then eastern Arizona by Thursday night.. (Not really driving straight thru..) Will have cell phone and CB radio on and ready...

John

Williams

We arrived in Williams about 1430, as expected. The gas price at Needles was 3.50. Twenty-one miles into Arizona, at Exit 9, it was 2.45. At Exit 59 it was 2.59. After that, it starts climbing again. Plan ahead if you can, and save a few bucks. John (Condoluminum), it will be here before you know it. As consolation, I'll have a couple for you and Diane tonight. John (TIME), I think I'll read these posts to Deb and leave out that advice about the classic car. You know that you can never have too many. Weather is beautiful here.

Thanks for the heads up on the fuel prices, one question, do you remember if they had diesel at exit 9 in AZ, and do you remeber the brand by chance?? I know, too many questions, but since you just got there, you should still be somewhat coherent, I said somewhat!

Time
Time,

At the Lake Havasu offramp is a Flying J with diesel. For easy pump acces on your truck take the last driveway in and then a quick left will out you at the pump.

Weather has been great, some afternoon showers, but sunny today, bring a light jacket, it gets alittle cool at night.
