Richard, You don't eat the flea collar. It's just for flavoring. Sheesh.

Given all the different subthreads being discussed here Gail and I want a reminder on the important items on the schedule, Margarita Hour and pot lucks. I assume that Margarita Hour will be every afternoon once were at Albuquerque but what about the pot lucks? Are we planning them every night or are we looking to sample some of the local restaurants? My "Eat Your Way Across the U.S.A." guide list two Mexican restaurants in Albuquerque that we might try.

Mega-Link amateur radio network
Don and others,
NM is blessed with an excellent network of more than 2 dozen repeaters called the Mega-Link system. This system covers the majority of the state of NM and portions of neighboring states.
Even before entering NM, you should be able to connect to Deza Bluff, then near Grants you have the San Mateo repeater and in ABQ there is Sandia Crest repeater at 145.290-(100).
Check this link for locations and frequencies;

Margarita hour is 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM - and anytime before or after those times....
We have one major pot luck planned for sure on Sat evening - then other meals we are going to kinda ad lib - - - - having said that, I think we kinda decided to do a community grilling where everyone brings a meat to grill and then the rest of meal is on your own. So lots of time to go out and eat if you wish to do that.

LAST CALL.........I will need to know by tomorrow morning anyone who wants to attend - also anyone who cannot attend - after tomorrow - due to the balloon fiesta folks schedule and my schedule, I'll need to get a final count - and will not be able to put in for any more additions and if you are going to have to cancel, we won't be able to refund you.
Sooooo this is your last opportunity to join us for a really great time!!!!

Check International Balloon Festival in Sussex, New Brunswick, Canada. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, no need to post safety warnings. Lost wallets, purses, cameras etc. are always turned in to police intact. Amazing venue, where farmers in most instances, do not charge landing fees. Vintage car show included on last day. If you are a serious enthusiast, you need to look into this.

Hey Ken,
We have some choices of trailers. Will size make a difference??? (and I know where this will lead with some of you!) Is is better to take a 21 footer over a 32 foot???

Page and I will meet you in Grants. We're knocking around in Utah at the moment, then will go to Monument Valley. Not sure after that.
I'm enjoying the updates as I find a connection.

I've been trying to get Page to release her hold on the ham. So far it's safe, so far.
I did get a spare bottle of scotch, though. Count your victories where you can.
It has been a great 7 months or so, getting ready for this trip. We're having a great time, so far...

Is everyone getting EXCITED yet?
I'm planning a Friday departure from the Hood with a stop in Moab for a day or so to properly break in the new mountain bike. Then on to Ken J's a couple of days early for a little work on his Vintage A/S, and on to the Fiesta.
Are you ready to RRRRRUUUUUMMMMMBBBBBLE???????????
