OK, that's it....we just have to find a Brunswick either on the way to or at the Balloon Rally. No parking lot brawls, no fascists, just lots of beer. "Let's roll Dude."

Just need to know TIME...do your bowling shoes match your purple outfit?

I'm sure ABQ must have an alley somewhere.

Ms Smith,

I borrowed my entire outfit from Jesus, thanks to Bob's influence and Walter's enforcement, I may get to keep them and show it off in an appropriate city, say Williams?

Is Karl Hungus related to Mr Marx(G, not K)?
Ken: If we have 20 spots, are we going to designate one of them the commons area for festive enjoyment, or should we all gather our domiciles a little closer to allow for the group area...? Are we going to have a group area?
Do I need to arrange for more than one kegette?(Donations WILL be accepted)(cups will be provided)(bring yer own outhouse)(not responsible for altered behavior)(Objections may be closer than they appear)

We actually have 21 spots and 1 across the street at last count. Thats all we have so no common area. I was thinking today that this is going to be interesting because I've never stayed at the park before - I've seen it, know where it is though... soooo when we all gather together, please bring a bit of patience and will get it figured out - I'm hoping I can go a day or so in advance and figure out what we need to do - if not will all have to jump out of our vehicles, take a quick survey of our spots and make some room for a common area. Its one big open field so we will all get to know each other really well :-) if we kinda park close and leave a common area.

We need tables and chairs! I got one of those big church type folding tables that I'll bring - need more if anyone has any.

Another little issue is when I talked to the Fiesta folks today, she mentioned that the city is doing some work on the field and she may have overbooked a little in the Premium area we are in - not a problem for us, just may be a bit cozy.

Maybe I can be the escort back to your trailer person - since I don't drink a whole lot - unless you really get me going on Coors :-) :-)

Ken

A housekeeping item.....

The balloon folks want to keep track of us (imagine that) - they need to know type of rig (trailer or motorhome), length of rig, license # and state, and if you have any slide outs (which I don't think any of us do).

The good thing about Airstreams is they are somewhat compact compared to the huge 5th wheels out there - so we should be good on space.

Worst case as I understand it is spaces will be 19' wide.

If you all could PM me that would be great - while your at it let me know that you have read the schedule.

We will be available for early arrival and set-up...right now we are thinking about showing up at Angel Fire for that portion of a caravan, but will beg off on the Santa Fe portion, which will leave us about a week of discretionary travel for less than 200 miles...I have been seen doing things like washing vehicles(once a year, whether or not they need it) to picking up trash on the side of the road...you may use me for other menial tasks...just be gentle...but let me help. I will not muck the stable, but I might help fluidate the holding corral.

Hmm mucking the stable was what I really needed too.....

Anyway, thanks for the offer - as we get closer will figure out what we need to do.

I should have room here at the house for you if you like - Lewster has first dibs, but theres room for you too.

mr numeric,

my oh my...

the stock market comes alive and so do you!

in re: to space... not lost in space but the other, other space...

a lot of us have awnings on three sides... well, i even met a cowboy once who had awnings on four sides... where was i...

common space: common space is where you say or think it is... not to worry, there's always space for beer, the margi ball, and corn toss... no matter what...

and yes bring table 'n chars, tubs for beer, coors for the greeter and numeric, belgium style bbers, ta-kill-ya... you know all the stuff thats bad for ya...

mr numeric, now that you're up, do you stay up, or do you snooze?

OKAY...I wouldn't really mind the mucking, but KBO has pretty definite standards for his equine flock, and I'm not sure I could reach those standards. 19 feet is really a narrow landing strip for the C-130 drop zone, unless he's not doing that this time that place? Thanks for the offer...we'll definitely plug it into our not-so-planning-plans...the washboard to Chaco has me intrigued...wonder what Good Sam would say about a tow-out...

So Off Topic It's Scary...

mr lew,

look what came today!

my brand new ShurFlo Extreme Smart Sensor 4.0 water pump to replace my perfectly good el cheapo deluxe ShurFlo water pump from the factory.

looks like a str8 swap.

however, all the specs on line said the pump draws 10 amps, however in the specs that came w/ the new pump, this series draws 15 amps min. yikes... but hay i can drain my fresh water tank at 50psi in about 10 1/2 mins. i hate limits, boundries, rules...

back to our regular program...

kevin

no it's not off topic... i'll make a baloooon outa the old pump...

cough, cough, cough (insert throat clearing sounds and wheezing gasps)

this is beginning to read like a wbcci rally...

over booked camping in a dusty field
ungodly tight spaces while boondocking...
to create a 'common area'
collecting useless info
and taking an oath to have reviewed the schedule

for 65$ a night?

i just wanna park, have a beer and watch the pretty balloons...

cheers
2air'

no doubt you are busy ken but checking out the site 1 day in advance isn't gonna help those of us that are on the road for several days.

perhaps we need a site survey and advance team scouting report now...

of course the little red paint sprays that say "put your tongue here" won't last 9 weeks....

19ft is plenty wide, my rig is 58.5 feet long, hopefully i'll have valid tags by then, and i'm not reading any schedules...
