I've been adding an awning with telescoping arms...SOLID...but heavy(to withstand the beach breezes at ABQ), still have to figure out where to put the brick bracing wall while in transit.
Have also been riding the fenceline...got to keep the critters away from the livestock...any suggestions?

Local birds
Mr. Bo,
I understand they have unusual birds in those parts...
Are they dangerous?

mr lew,
i didn't realize you were available to work during a rally.
can i bring my new SHURflo Extreme Series Water Pump and have it installed at a reasonable cost on site at the hot gas party? i don't want to cut into our / your beer time, but a serious new water pump w/o an associated tank is cool.... not to mention 50psi at the shower and sinks rocks.

Time to get serious
Ok happy ballooning camper folks - time to get some serious planning going here. I've attached a VERY preliminary schedule of events. Please feel free to give me additions/deletions.
We need to nail down FOOD.....
This is what I understand
1. We want to do a potluck
2. We don't want to go out to dinner somewhere
3. Some of us want to have catered food, and some don't
Soooo - do we do lots of pot lucks? Each his/her own for dinners?
We also need to plan something special FCU celebrations type events - I know we have tons of holes in the schedule to do all kinds of crazy stuff.
I put a bike ride in there because
a - I like to ride
b - There may be one of you (Lewster?) who also likes to ride
c - I like to ride and I like to ride with my friends.
So - lets get a spirited discussion of the sequence of events. I've started now its your turn

Mr. Numeric
(just love that name), a bike ride would be super....road or mountain, as I have just aquired a new MTB (Giant Trance X/O) and I'de love to hit the dirt in ABQ with it....or we could just go out and hammer on the slab.....your choice....your terrain!
And for all of the other campers thinking of biking, you are invited to join us as we don't kill folks on group rides (generally ).

It usually works well to have a couple of "bring your own plate of dinner and eat together" meals. Simple, easy, everybody eats what they like, and no one has to organize.
I also like to go out and sample the local hot spots so I'm in for an outing or two.

Only thing surprising to me is the 3:30 potluck times... I guess this is D-Lunch?
We'll be bringing some good Smithfield ham - so save your salt budget!

I was thinking that we may want to have our major meal in the late afternoon because of all the activities in the evening that we need to be ready for - - - - - - - I also know that happy hour usually happens before dinner, so do we want to switch those around - again my thinking was to be ready for all the evening activities..

Margy ball
We will be bringing the orginal Margy ball so you may want to schedule a nap in after the potluck or just pull up your comfortable recliner and pretend you are gazing skyward.

Happy hour? Cocktail parties? Margi-ball?
No one ever does that at forum rallies...
