FL 027 : Florida state Rally 2006

Hi everyone,

We are back from the rally in Sarasota. I'll let Terry tell you how Goliath did.

We had a great forum happy hour yesterday, we had shrimp, meatballs, fruit, crackers, cheese, dips, chips and a few other great tasting foods.
It was great seeing people we already knew, and meeting some new ones. Terry will be posting pictures later, and I'm sure others who were there will pipe in with comments.

For the most part we had a good time.

I had an extremely detailed missive prepared about everything that happened at the rally, but the Karma Gods decided it wasn't to be, as my computer flushed it before I could post it...

My first rally

A sea of shinning aluminum glittering in the sun.

People laughing and giddy with excitement upon sighting old friends.

Being greeted by just about everyone with a "hello" and "hi"

Parts, oh the parts and goodies. I got 4 complete brake/magnets assemblies mounted on new backing plates for 50 bucks each.

Food, I munched down on 2 Dogs that had previously fallen on the ground and washed off, pre cooked, burnt and reheated. (thank you Terry) AKA Overlander63.

Just really meeting some nice people.

I would like to thank Overlander63 for encouraging me to visit the rally and making me feel very very welcome, and even thought I only stayed four hours it was great fun!
