“Discover the Finger Lakes Rally”

July 9-16, 2011

Come one, come all to the Finger Lakes Rally with the NEW ENGLAND UNIT. The rally is for 7 nights, arriving July 9th and departing on July 16th, 2011. You can book for as many nights as you wish. The campground is very popular and fills up very quickly.

Please book your own site through RESERVE AMERICA or 1-800-456-2267. Please note that 20-foot sites will accommodate up to a 25’ trailer, and a 30-foot site will accommodate up to a 35’ trailer. Therefore if your trailer is a 25’, book the length as 20’. Cost ($29-$31 per night) plus Reserve America fees.

Reservations:
Hosts are staying in the Mohawk Village section (sites 99 & 101) of the campground, which has electrical hookups (30 or 50 amp) only. Other sections do not have electrical hookup. The entire campground has access to shared water only, restrooms, and dump station. No site has water.

Itinerary:
The itinerary has not been determined. We plan to have potluck suppers and have some group tours. Please see below some area attractions.

• Hiking trails (Gorge Trail and others in Park-- cascades, waterfalls)

• Canoeing/Kayaking within ½ hour Hiking of campground, on Lakes Keuka, Lanoba, or Waneta
• Women’s History Museum at Seneca Falls (group tour planned)
• Corning Glass Museum (group tour planned)

• Biking rail trail
• Wineries (we will be taking a group tour to at least on winery)
• Sampson State Park on Seneca Lake: military museum

Please sign up ASAP if you wish to join the fun! It’s a very popular State Park and half of the Mohawk Village is filled already. There will be little to no chance of getting sites in 2011.

You NEU folks are always great to travel with! We're signed up for late in the week (Thursday - Sunday). This is just a few hours from our home base in PA, but we love the Finger Lakes - lots to do. Plus we need to add to our wine cellar... Looking forward to seeing you again!
