Jan and I are pleased to host the 4th Four Corners Unit Rally at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood, AZ. The dates are 02/12 - 02/14 with the option of staying an additional night and leaving on the 15th which is President's Day.

It will be held in the same group site as previous years, which means we will be parked in one big Airstream only loop with a giant Ramada and fire pit. The loop also has restrooms and showers. This is dry camping but water is available in the loop and the dump station is nearby. Quiet generators are permitted during the day.

We are ready to go now to DH4

But we have the Q-3,T-2 Thanksgiving rally at Quartzsite and the New Years rally at Picacho Peak to do first.

Lot of good 4CU rallys.Can not wait to get to Q.

About the same here! Woke up this morning to eight inches of fresh white stuff and a whopping two degrees. Somebody explain to me why the calendar on this computer reads only October 26.

Folks, the talk coming from AZ about closing the state parks has got me all nervous about DH4. Any word from those closer to the pulse over there with better news than what we hear via the media?

Haven't heard anything from BLM land, but the cuts sound serious...could be a ploy to get more funding...all gov't placements have to play the funding game...sure hope this IS just a game...

I had a conversation earlier this year with some of the staff at Dead Horse. If the staff is reduced some of the smaller parks in the Verde valley will be forced to close. Dead Horse is one of the parks that rings in a substantial amount of money and would not be affected unless all of the park funds were totally removed.

The camping fees will be going up at Dead Horse, but that does not happen until March 1st. Most of us will be gone by then...

So, that would be...wait a minute while I drag out the calculator...DH5Q4T3NY3...?Maybe we should just open up our own 'state' park, and pig out for 3 months!!!...I could live with that, but I bet my cholesterol and liver couldn't

...lots of desert golf to counter-act the ingestion...has anyone considered the idea of creating our own park...??? Well, besides me...??? We know how politically correct I am...but it's worth a second thought...

There HAD to be someone who'd do that...I note the absence of a mention of scabbard...do I have to bring up everything in my defense and assault...?well, it is a pirate thing.

Not really cut off(ouch, again), just moved to Mesa...can't really step away from the keyboard(there ARE two), as last I looked, I was in a moho...outside is...hmm...DESERT GOLF!!!>>>I'm outta here...park carefully if you come to visit, and I'd suggest a 7 iron...maybe a 5...less yer playin' me when I have the 5 wood out
