Forecast is changing, now calling for 50% chance of thunderstorms on Sat and a chance for light rain the other days.

EZ Ups are on the list of items to bring along with a few tarps. We'll need to keep our precious firewood covered. Heading up tomorrow.

50 is a whole lot better than the high of 38 with snow that was forecasted yesterday for Sunday. No big deal, that area is well populated the roads will be very good.

Our only hang-up is both nippers came down with the super cold and have passed it on to us. We might as well be ground zero for the CDC for new biological hazards. We shall have to see how we all are doing in a few days.

I thought someone was going fishing up there. How is the trout in the verde river? Is it decent fishing?

Not too many trout in the Verde in Cottonwood, but they do stock the lagoons in the park.

For those of us without grey water tanks, can we drain grey water on the ground or do we have hookups? Also does anyone know where to find a portable tank in the Phx area for this purpose? Heres a link to what I was thinking:

Grey on the ground is not allowed. Louis often uses a five gallon pail with his trailer and then dumps it when it gets full. There is a sink behind the bathroom for dishes and what ever. A lot of grey water gets spilled on the ground at night accidentally.

Hi Shawn,
We use a blue tote that has 3 wheels on it. It's a 22 gallon model, perfect for campgrounds without hookups. When it gets full, we simply tow it to the dump site to drain. This setup works great. The camping world in Mesa on the 60 sells them. That's where I bought mine.

Trailer has five feet of snow in front if it so we'll have to wait for next year.

Wow, 33 trailers! It turns out that we'll miss the fun this time, but see you at SBL in April. Will be thinking of you all this weekend.

ha!! you don't need to invite a doctor. just invite a salida resident they won't cost you as much and there's no need for an examination!
