We are still on the list and still planning to be at DH5 despite having to deal with the aftermath of our frozen pipes and ensuing flood in our home ... discovered when we returned from the New Year's rally. Not the way we envisioned spending Jan & Feb. We need a break from this mess!

I have attached a list of the events we have planned for the weekend. Everything is optional and the only goal we have is for everyone to have a good time. We have tried to have a good balance of planned events and free time to visit the local area or just hang out and visit with friends. Some of the events may start late and we will do our best to keep everyone informed of any changes. We plan on having a white board at the Ramada with the days event outlined. If you have any questions, please ask.

Hey Richard, as fate would have it since I waited too long to ask for the day off I was rejected. Seems that there are a few people out on injury leave. I was so looking forward to finally completing a full DH but guess I will have to wait till the restoration rally. Sorry

Sorry you will not be able to attend. We were looking forward to seeing how big your kids have gotten since the last DH you attended.
Thanks for letting me know.

Can't wait for DH. I am home waiting for the gas company to arrive to turn the gat back on. They turned off the gas to NNM and SNM on Thursday for tens of thousands of customers. The governor declared a state of emergency. It has been hard to keep the house warm. It'll be nice to get away!

We are still attending but need to skip out Saturday afternoon to attend an awards dinner in Scottsdale. Will return Sunday. Looking forward to another great time!

Weather
My weather site says Flagstaff is going to have rain & snow Wednesday and snow-Thursday thru Sunday. Cottonwood is supposed to have a chance of showers on Wednesday, then rain and snow Thursday thru Sunday. Might end up snowed in, in sunny Arizona. lol

Dear 6packcharlie,
i don't like your weather site...please find another one that promises
fair skies and warm temps.
btw - we'll be there no matter what. i'm just ready for some warmer weather is all...
...on the other hand - no need to refrig the beer!

Snow, rain, gusting winds oh well nothing can damper a good time while with good friends and a bunch of Airstreams. I say bring it on. Can't wait!
Now I have to go put my awning back on so my Airstream doesn't spring a leak.

Not putting a damper on anything for sure. We are heading out this morning to get by Flagstaff before Thursday. See everyone at Cottonwood.

To get to Fools Hollow from Cottonwood, take 260 East to 87. Take 87 South to Payson and head East on 260 again. It is a very nice drive, but weather can be a factor.

route
hey, thanks...noticed those routes on the atlas....so other than weather considerations they are servicable and passable...the atlas seemes to think 260 is unpaved...
i have an arizona map that seems to indicate that 260, being a state road is paved...
thanks...

We are bringing some tarps and our EZ-Up, just in case. We could use a few more, just in case.
