On the weekend of Friday, May 28th through Sunday, May 30th, the Sierra Nevada Unit of WBCCI will gather and visit the Civil War Encampment at Fort Churchill. The Airstreamers will camp at the Dayton State Park, about 20 miles east of Carson City. Please join us for a weekend of relaxation, bird-watching, Civil War watching, and star-gazing. If you plan to come, get there early Friday as there is no reserved group area, but hopefully we will be able to get together for happy hour or potluck lunches or dinners. This area is close to historic Dayton, and Virginia City, too.
