We're leaving on the 29th and plan on arriving on the 31st. Staying overnight in Forsyth KOA, and then the Ozark/Ft Rucker KOA. If the weather forecast for departure looks bad, we may leave early to seek warmer climates sooner.

I happened to notice a reference to information posted on FaceBook. Although I have a FaceBook account, I do not like going onto FB and only go on when I get notice of and to see what a friend posted.

I hope that any information posted therein about this Rally will also be available here.

Phil, we got a jump on you this year. We’re already in the panhandle at Panama City Beach. We beat the wintry weather! See you at Canopener!

Jim, in incredibly Beautiful Hiawassee, GA

Phil,
I doubt you will see much posted on here for the rally unless someone wants to take the lead it keeping this thread updated. Most folks have migrated over to the Canopener FB page. Are you a member? You can get notifications just for the group if you want. If you want to join, it is the Canopener Airstream Rally. Send a request to join and you'll get in.
Look forward to seeing you
Joe

I will not be going on to FaceBook to look for Airstream information. Hopefully, I can learn what I need from here, or I will be left out. I do not trust FaceBook as an app and should probably delete all information that I have out there.

An activity being provided by an attendee. You may want to attend:

SKYMED Breakfast
Where: Top Sail Amphitheater
When: Thursday Jan 7, 2021
Time: 9:30 am
Come and have breakfast with Sandy & JJ and learn about Sky Med, North America’s premier emergency air transportation service.
SkyMed is a company with proven character & integrity.
We will socially distance and we ask everyone to please wear your facemask.
The breakfast sandwiches will be wrapped and packaged in a separate box, as packaged by the restaurant using food safe practices. A sealed fruit cup will be provided. Please bring your coffee.
We are asking members and non- members to join us so they can learn the new benefits of a SkyMed Membership.
Please be sure to sign up on the contact board or text JJ @ 216-533-1752 so he will know how many breakfasts to order.
We may have to change the time and date of the event pending weather.
Hope to see you on Thursday Jan 7th @ 9:30 am in the Amphitheater.

Sandy & JJ

Canopener 2022

What is the tradition of announcing future dates? I am starting to plan our 21/22 winter in FLA and would like to start at Can Opener. Any idea of the dates?

Going on a bit of a tangent...

We've had Skymed coverage for several years and have not needed to use it while traveling. We included the 100 mile (50 mile?) waiver so it also applies to us when we're at home. We had an ambulance trip to the ER recently (recovering fine) and Skymed reimbursed us for that expense. Skymed was very easy to deal with.
