The Avro Lancaster will be coming out from its home at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum in Hamilton Ontario CANADIAN WARPLANE HERITAGE This is a rare appearance for one of only two remaining airworthy Lancs in existance.

I've left the schedule open and flexible since the airshow is the main focus. We will get together for a potluck dinner Saturday night. I'm sure there will be spontaneous activities happening with everyone throughout the weekend!

We are looking forward to it. All signed up and just sent in for our passports. We were at Abbotsford some 30 years ago sleeping under an airplane wing, I need more comfort now!

Working on going. Other things keep getting in the way but we are trying to sort through them so we can come out and play at Abby Air show. Have not been for 20 years

Iain's events are always fun.

I just called the Abbotsford Airshow office and we have 12 Airstreams so far attending the vintage rally in August. So there is still space if you are interested in attending and lots of room to park your rig. I'll send out the rally schedule to everyone via email in a week or so. I just got back from a month on the road - Gillette Wyoming and then Coeur d'Alene Idaho at a great Region 10 rally.

We had a great time. Thanks to Iain for organizing the event. Iain even found us a Beer sponsor (Russell Breweries). They delivered icy cold beer when it was sooooo hot. We also soaked our feet in ice water in a child's wading pool to try and stay cool. The show and exhibits were terrific. 18 Airstreams and 1 Shasta in attendance. We rode our folding bikes around the airport in the nice cool evenings. We answered numerous questons during the day about the Airstreams as they seemed to be an attraction on their own despite the aircraft flying above. When the show was done we packed up Monday morning and caravaned to the Mt Baker area and camped and partied for another 5 days. Was exhausted when we got home but we are ready for the next adventure in a couple of weeks
